  • Any person accepting monetary aid and other support from foreign nations to try and overthrow our political system would obviously be tried for treason in the UK.

China are well within their right to put Jimmy Lai in prison and he clearly went through a fair trial process otherwise all those same nations that supported him would be bleating about kangaroo courts.

  • Touched a nerve did I?

  • Streeting taking advice from Mandelson on policy should be seen in the same regard as Mandelson himself being overly chummy with the paedo Epstein. Mandelson is a blairite freak (besides the paedo-adjacency) and Streeting was best mates with him and groomed into political station by him. Of course the right wing of the labour party don't and won't care about this as they're all hopelessly disgusting too.

  • Everyone in politics knows about Mandelson being a paedo-adjacent/paedo-apologist right wing freak at best, he never should have been put in the post and at the time he was left wing groups and media were actively calling out the decision. The depths dredged by the paedophile Centre and right of the labour party makes them clearly unfit to lead.

  • Children born in Wales and adults who've lived here for much of their life are Welsh as far as I and most people I know are concerned. Fuck off with your ethno-nationalist cretinism.

  • The only extremist is you, you bootlicking scum.

Part your hand from cock and fuck off.

  • "Someone".

Yeah they just battered any old random person, definitely.

    Bootlicking scum.

  • Communism didn't fail of its own accord, it was shot down, backstabbed and slaughtered by Western imperialists. No account of the failures of socialist governance is complete without acknowledgement of the wider context of the 'Cold' war and in particular US interventionism across the world post WW2.

  • Bootlicking scum

  • China Labor Watch is a classic US government funded not for profit organisation used to smear the US’ enemies.

Have a good read of that compiled list of labour rights failures and have a think about work in the UK and how often those same problems occur in our country. Now imagine how absurd it would be for another country to deny investment in Britain due to accusations of labour rights abuses.

  • A huge chunk of people in work either cannot regularly work full time hours due to illness or are not even given full time hours by their bosses.

  • The EU are a foreign imperialist power for much of the global south.

I didn't mention China or America.

The EU absolutely obliterated the Greek economy and subjected them to austerity politics to pay off debts to other EU member states. Its key members (Germany, France) are neocolonial powers in their own rights, with Germany deepthroatedly supporting Israel while France maintains a hegemonic, colonial role over its 'former' colonies in West Africa.

The EU core extracts cheap labour from its periphery member states (mostly former Eastern bloc nations) and has no intention of reducing the massive wage differentials between member states that cause this effect. It ensures that no member state can nationalise industries, and works towards 'liberating' industries that are already nationalised so that German and French capital can pour into those industries and capture their market share and profits.

A 'strong and stable' EU is not going to be particularly easy to supplant now is it? Surely you want your enemies as weak as possible before dealing the finishing blow instead of propping them up and aiding their legitimacy despite their clearly imperialist aims and ends. The EU are all about that white supremacist 'our garden vs. their jungle', keep the savages out, kill the refugees in the Mediterranean and let the Albanians do our dirty work. No friends of mine or any well-read socialist.

  • The EU as a bloc are vehemently anti-socialist and are a massive impediment to any potential socialist or communist governance by member states. They discipline member states to keep them in line ideologically and for their markets to remain "free".

Socialists should and must be absolutely opposed to the EU as a project, but work towards close collaboration with other European socialists and socialist/communist parties.

  • Defence of the homeland bs, afraid of giving up the comfort and spoils of labour-imperialism to naked us-imperialism. The Canadian government already does and did horrendous shit to its indigenous and minorities. The first enemy is still the Canadian political system and the Canadian bourgeoisie.

  • And I know an expat family from China who are communists and broadly support China and the CPC.

Tit for tat anecdotes don't Trump actual data.

  • Small outlets are fundamentally reliant on working with big clients to earn enough money for a decent wage, so you're not achieving anything by going it alone. In no sense are you "balancing" the market.

  • I remember side eyeing these parts but I'm more inclined to take the good from the bad and view the totality of the book in relatively favourable terms. I also don't remember it being quite as bad as this post suggests but I'm happy to concede that as my memory isn't as fresh as yours!

  • There are indeed middle classes.
