  • Best bet right now is join and be active in your trade unions and local community/hobby groups, with a view to finding like-minded people and making new like-minded people. From there, book clubs etc. can be organised with interested people, and the skeleton of the party form can be constructed. As you may have already found out, not all CPB comrades are reactionary, and it may be worth continuing to work in a limited capacity with them on local issues and in national pressure groups like the Palestine and Cuba solidarity campaign groups, Stop the War coalition and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. There's a lot of space for organising on socialist issues not as a member of a particular party in Britain, which does owe to the considerable effort put in by those same parties that do take reactionary lines. These 'united front' style entities exist precisely because the parties want to ensure that on specific issues people can be aligned without needing to agree on absolutely everything else.

  • Trotskyist cut out from the old IMT, or Socialist Appeal as their newspaper was called.

  • NATO membership makes us unsafe. We're closer to war with every US enemy because of our membership of this club. You can't think NATO is anything but a destabilising element in world geopolitics when its main military force is constantly invading, bombing and funding fascist death squads in the global south.

Likewise, nuclear arms only keep us "safe" because the US are psychopathic nut jobs who've actually used the bomb before. Nobody else wants them, but keeps them because the US have an itchy trigger finger and are desperate to do regime change when things don't go their way. Global disarmament of nukes is the safest global option, and the main entities preventing that right now are the US and its NATO allies.

  • bootlicking spittle

    Go kick rocks.

  • Following in the scandal laden footprints of their boy Mandelson.

  • Making your own decks with Anki is meant to be supplementary: you read or watch something in your target language and note down a few sentences you didn't understand, then write them up into double sided flash cards, optionally with where you got the sentence from.

This helps build relationships between both the language and the context you saw it in to help strengthen the initial learning.

  • Basically the core ideas of Monism. Spinoza big basis for this line of philosophical thought.

  • When the critique is unfounded lies and slander then we can all work out where that shit is coming from. Ask yourself why you would so readily absorb and adopt this nonsense about China, a country you clearly know nothing about.

  • "Chinese expansionism" lmao the nation that hasn't been in a war for like 45 years. Chauvinistic racist take.

  • Could it be the complex interlocking and stifling nature of Capitalism, leading governments to defund education and drop support for poorer communities? No, it's the technology that's causing cognitive decline. Capitalists are fine actually and can stay as they are.

  • No, what you want is for Labour to say what you want to hear. They are already saying things that you don't want to hear and you are acting like it's some accident and that they should just come to their senses and say the nice liberal things you want them to.

They are vile on immigration because they believe that it appeases a particular bloc of voters and because having scared and compliant legal and illegal migrants means that capital can exploit their labour to even greater extents, in fear they will be deported if they aren't the model migrant. They are discussing it, regularly, but not in the way you want.

  • Labour have been clamping down on immigration and spouting off Reform style rhetoric since getting to power. What more could you idiots want?

Maybe if they started doing live executions of immigrants to appease Reform voters and saps like you?

  • They sell the output of their labour, not the right to use their labour for a day/week/month at the going rate for labour power (the average cost to reproduce a worker plus maybe some bonus pay for scarcer labour skills or a bribe for being a labour overseer).

In the one case, the service of photography is being sold at the going rate for photography and no surplus value is extracted from the labour. In the other case labour power itself is purchased, and the capitalist is now responsible for extracting as much useful input as possible from the labourer during the time they've purchased the labour. In that way they can profit from surplus value produced in excess of the cost they paid for the labour power.

  • How many solar panels have you sent to Cuba to support their crumbling infrastructure? How many have western communists been responsible for sending?

Stfu with this 'no internationalism' horse shit.

  • Went to the dentist for the first time in 9 years a couple months back as I couldn't get an NHS slot after moving house. Luckily came back with a clean bill of mouth health because I've become ultra-vigilant on not over consuming sugary foods outside of meal time and cutting out sugary drinks. (Not so) Luckily I've also cut out soft drinks because I developed kidney stones after consuming too much sugar-free sodas as my go to drink, so the lack of acidic drinks has also probably helped.

It's an absolute joke and poor dental health has such huge potential impacts both on your mental health but also I think gum ill health can also lead to serious health risks like heart disease, as one example of a major physical health problem downstream of the mouth. All this adds up to increased use of NHS services in the actually, guaranteed free parts - like emergency dentistry and primary care doctors.

  • Stalin was slandered, I can recommend Domenico Losurdo's 'Stalin: A History And Critique of a Black Legend'

  • It's a daily print paper too so they have to pay the bills somehow. Just archive the page and read it on the wayback machine.
