  • It’s a little surprising to me that he’s still posting on Instagram. I’d have thought someone who defied the Russian government wouldn’t be flouting it in the open. But I guess he probably knows better than most what they’re actually capable of, or maybe he knows that chasing down draft dodgers on the other side of the world isn’t a high priority right now.

  • I grew up in CA but now live in the southern US. I get really tired of hearing this. Yes, the cost of living is ridiculous and the wildfires are terrible. But it’s actually a lovely place, on balance, and I enjoy my visits. The folks here seem to think CA is a crime-ridden urban hell.

  • I’m a graphic designer at a research laboratory. It’s exactly what I want to be doing & I feel very lucky to have this job. I spend my days designing fact sheets, logos, infographics, and various corporate communications stuff. I also fill in as a photographer some days.
