Autocorrect hates me, I am sorry.

  • QT

  • Hurray, just charge a subscription and you’re exempt! Make micro transactions a practical necessity and you’re exempt!

This is going to make the industry so much better!!!!

/s these exceptions are going to create a whole cancer on the games industry.

  • Depends what they’re protesting and why

  • Not really.

You’re still stuck with right aligned decorations, sandwich buttons on sidebars, no native toolbar widgets, etc.

You can do some light theming, but the overall way it works is the same.

    It’s not sufficient.

  • Then qemu sounds like a good tool to play with

  • Currently I use KDE plasma but I’d like to migrate off.

  • Because both characters look wildly like sexualized children.

  • It absolutely can, but I don’t know if it’s the easiest way to try it out.

You might find creating a playable Linux USB and booting from that helpful, as you can try out Linux without the overhead of a VM.

  • I actually kind of hate both.

KDE is an unopinionated Windows clone built of a shitty proprietary base. Stuff mostly works well though, I can’t deny that. It just looks and feels like crap.

GNOME development is stupid. They have a binding for every language you can imagine, but the widgets leave you up shit creek and Gnome thinks it’s smarter than you. Gnome looks pretty good, but after trying in earnest I don’t want to work with it.

  • This fanart looks problematic.

  • I’m always torn on this case.

I’ve had suicidal thoughts since I was like 6 or 7 years old. It’s always something I’ve thought about rather compulsively. I’ve never tried it, the only time I suffered from real suicidal impulses was when switching on to SSRIs.

Personally, I think it’s a human right to be able to decide when to die, but I think there do need to be some guard rails on that. A depressive episode is too low a bar, it’s usually transitory, but MAID (medical assistance in dying) can be too high a bar and isn’t available globally. (The mental fitness requirements to consent to MAID I think are too strict sometimes, which is why my will outlines consent for it and power of attorney for MAID, and is why everyone should have a will made up)

I do not think this guy murdered people. I don’t think what he did is the same as that. I do think he enabled unnecessary suicides, that he was unable to fully understand or judge his customer’s situations, and that and his poison could very well have been used for murder and he would never know.

It was reckless and I’m sure in multiple cases was criminally negligent, and I think that’s the right case to build punishment and justice around.

I just don’t think this was murder. I feel for the affected families. Some of them were robbed of family they could have helped, and that is tragic. I do think some victims would have sought out other means though. It’s just a tough case.

  • I think I’m having a stroke.

These are words. I understand all of these words individually. Yet any three or more sequential words I don’t understand at all.

  • Hypothetically, what if a blind person used LLMs for coding assistance?

  • I want to start a debate:

Do you people use mayonnaise on the outside of your grilled cheese, or butter? Or margarine?

Similar to this cookie I find mayo (oil based) gives too clean of a flavour, whereas the frying of the butter improves the grilled cheese with a bit more caramelization and flavour on the bread. Salted or unsalted are both preferable to me.

  • I’ll have to watch more of his videos to assess.

I did appreciate the energy and the sheer over engineering of it.

I just think he can do better.

And we need to know how the impure cookie from grandma tastes out of 10. For science.

  • If you take Enterprise as cannon, you’re likely watching Star Trek through the holo diaries of Picard and co.

They hold a strong anti-Ferengi bias, and those chronicles are not to be trusted.

We all know the Star Gazer fired on an unarmed Ferengi ship, and it is federation policy to hide that fact.

  • I’d say this is only fair game if you have a no-ai policy on the readme. Otherwise you’re just being a dick.

  • This isn’t noncredibledefence?

This isn’t a terrible idea, I guess warfare is getting a bit coyote and roadrunner.
