  • When I migrated to Pixelfed, I imported a backup that was exported from Instagram. It correctly read all the data and the imported posts had the correct original date and captions and everything. Looking at my profile now on pixelfed.social, the import is disabled by admin. So maybe there's an instance that has the import enabled.

  • In the US the ingredients are listed in order but not with the actual quantity. So if they're listed as like "water, sugar, strawberry, ..." then you know there's more sugar than strawberry but not by how much. The nutrition label gives proportions of macro and micro nutrients, though.

  • The fact that Fender already lost an attempt to secure IP rights in US court is what makes this whole thing so crazy. And my understanding is that the German and EU courts are such that the default summary judgement isn't even binding anywhere else. I have to assume that a company like Fender would retain a competent law firm. So who decided this was going to be a profitable course of action? And who is going to prove to be so horribly wrong about how it will turn out?
