Your resident human error

  • The album on Bandcamp

I will shut up on this one and just answer the question you are having:

"The reason it's misspelled is because it's from a drawing this kid gave us. We played a show for a bunch of kids in South Central L.A.—Dorsey High. A friend's sister is a special-ed teacher there, so we went down there to her class and we played for the kids and it was super fun. Then it came to the kids asking us questions and then one of the kids came up to us and he gave us a drawing with that written on it. The drawing is the cover actually of the album, and just—I dunno we liked it. Actually we used all of the drawings that the kids made in the artwork on the album. It was definitely a fun, interesting venture for us. We'd never played for kids before—we didn't know what to expect but they were clapping and dancing."

  • Had a chance to see him with Perturbator and Health, but didn't want to go alone. I should have.

Where do I begin with this? This started as a solo project of a guy who built machines to produce industrial music. Hard to explain, take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrOTHl6Tldc

Much like another famous industrial band, A&P added another band member after almost two decades of creating their music solo. A dedicated guitarist in this case. You can listen to how that sounds here: https://authorandpunisher.bandcamp.com/album/nocturnal-birding

Anyway. I hope someone on here can appreciate the music. It is rough, I know, but there is texture and atmosphere here that I have never experienced anywhere else.

  • I tried the demo of the game when this video came out. Usually I share Civvie's taste, but this one is a bit too... simple(?) for me.

Anyway, try the demo if you think you might enjoy this.

  • I was gonna say, Sandy looks way more relaxed than you do, haha.

Don't know anything about horses, but you two look like a great pair!

  • Eh, people like to claim stuff, especially if they are marginalized. I wouldn't think too much about it. But thanks for bringing this up, never knew the trans gamer community feels like this about Fallout NV.

  • I see. I think your question is more: "Why do many trans people like Fallout New Vegas so much?". Written as is, your question reads like there are above average occurrences of the theme in the game.

  • Never heard of that, have an example?

  • "I was a selfish cunt that didn't give a shit about the health of others because I got brainwashed. But no biggie, I apologized after getting caught and fined."

    Piece of shit.

  • Did not expect to see the Grumps on here.

These things used to play everywhere in US shopping malls in the 60s and 70s, even in some European countries. They were scientifically crafted to enhance the shopping experience... or so the company claims. Some of the songs are rerecorded versions of contemporary hits, others are original compositions. There are no reprints of this, so when ever you find one in the wild, you know it has been along for around 50 years and was probably actually played in malls or shops.

Muzak records are a guilty pleasure of mine. Four of them are sitting comfortably in between The Moth Gatherer and My Sleeping Karma on my shelve.

  • Yea, I had mine custom built and I too underestimated how many damn vinyl records I want to own.

  • The album on some weird Bandcamp page not affiliated with the band

Their first album, or rather mixtape. There are so many uncleared samples on this thing, that only 500 original vinyl copies exist. This is not one of them, but a bootleg from 2023. Sounds great, even though the bootlegs of this album usually come on double LP while this comes on one. Was pretty hard to get, ordered it together with another Death Grips album from half around the globe.

This is the only album I could listen to by Death Grips for the first few weeks after discovering them. The other albums were all too abrasive for my taste back then, even though I was into some wild shit. Took some time for me to get used to them. Now, I barely listen to Exmil anymore, their other albums are so much more interesting musically. This is still pretty straight hip-hop, for the most part.

  • Here is Valve explaining how regional pricing works and a guide they give developers to price their games accordingly. Anyway, in most cases the answer is simple: Those countries or regions have a lower income.

  • Creepy shit

I don't even know when I started listening to this album, must be close to 20 years now. Absolute classic that I knew I had to get on vinyl when I started collecting. Double LP on "Sea Blue" vinyl.

  • The EP on Bandcamp

Like probably 99% of the people out there who know about M.O.O.N., I found them through Hotline Miami. Loved the track "Hydrogen" ever since I saw the first trailer for the game. This EP includes all of their songs that appear on the OST. If you are a fan, this is the closest you will get to owning some of the most iconic songs on Vinyl, without paying upwards of 150€.

Artsy fartsy alternative shot with shifted focus

  • The EP on Bandcamp

This is Pelican's first release. I found them while browsing a Discogs seller, never heard of them before. Listened to the later stuff they made, but they seem to have changed their sound a lot, became a bit calmer. Which is cool, but I like the heaviness of this EP.
