"Man rests from one labor by doing another." That also works for managing chronic pain, as I've discovered...

  • Okay.Almost every one of my unattached atomic particles (or waves?) is way above my pay-grade, here, but if you're interested in explaining, I'll try to do my dumbass version of listening?

(I mean, so many causes and issues mentioned there, just incredible)

  • I’ve seen so much of obvious USSR propaganda in contrast

There's no question that such was a huge issue for any creative-type working within that kind of framework. If you're familiar with Hergé's story, we also have examples of that backfiring heavily.

  • Good gosh, did you just win the Innernet for today. oO

  • Funny @sh.itjust.works

  • Oi matey, I love your profile pic.

    What is your sublemmy again..?

  • Tout de suite !

  • Welp... in this game of life, thou asketh certain Q's, and thou getest certain A's.

And that's how that works. 😅

  • Okay, but I'm just curious what a "marooooo..." is?

  • As a chronically-sensitive person upon my art & writing, I feel you there.

Personally I feel like it's a strong foundation upon a very good piece. Possibly if you developed it more, it might 'please the unpleasables.' (hah, to coin a phrase)

  • Oh my, that's quite sweet, and from my experience vibes nicely with Portland. (foof, it's been like 25yrs since I've been there, according to grandpa Johnny)

Since then, that anatomy of a turtle meme has become a basis of important philosophy for both her and I, and we'd just shout it out: strong shell! feets for marching! cute tail bump! adorable smile! maroooos are amazing.

Okay, but what the heck is a "maroooo?"

In any case, I find you quite a good writer, so I hope I happen to see more of your stuff across our beloved Fediverse, as the days turn in to weeks, and the weeks fuel eternity. 🙂

  • Maybe because it's digital?

Also, mods everywhere can get chronically drunk on their tiny little bit of power, so there's also that.

  • Oh yeah, I see it now!Btw, what got you in to turtles? (assuming that's the case)

That's one animal friend I was never able to entertain, altho of course limiting it to just an aquatic / terrarium situation would not really have been very nice, in the end.

  • I mean, the relevant threat there was being turned in to a "human puddle," and that's exactly what happened for the person playing it safe, just because some idiot insisted because of special reasons, and all because some kiddie wanted her whimsical present.

Anyway, that was my take. And indeed a chronic clusterfluff, as you get to know 'princess mentality' and 'elite mentality,' and all that...

    Good comic!

  • One thing I've always appreciated about the 'Net is that when you want to get a good answer, submitting something glaringly-wrong is often a highly successful stratergy. I guess if you're sideways bundling that idea in to your shower thought, then it seems kinda plausible...

    Maybe!

  • Nice work, turtle!!

Beautiful flicker in #1, and #2 & #3 are great examples of what an unexpected art photography can be. Truly, this is the kind of stuff that makes me really happy I joined this sublemmy. 😊

  • Holy shit, do I have no idea what the fuck is wrong with you. Good thing we've got labels, tho.

Feel free to have the last... toxic comment, though. Bye!

  • Yes, but I'm not just talking about porn, and I do think some sites enforce age checks regardless of local or international law.

But... that's just an impression, and I haven't done anything remotely like a full test, so far.

    (see the sibling comment)

  • Kind of interesting how an artist visually and seamlessly morphs a character from having pretty realistic proportions, all the way to also representing said character as much shorter and more exaggerated, based on the needs of the strip / panel / gag.

I may have first noticed that in The Flintstones, but you can also see it blatantly in modern manga, sometimes. Meanwhile, the brain and visual cortex do a fabulous job smoothing out such changes, to the point that we mostly don't notice them, even when they're pretty dramatic indeed.

  • Hungary was indeed behind The Iron Curtain for Jucika's entire run. In fact, the very year before the strip was founded, the authorities brutally crushed The Hungarian Revolution (1956).

    @chaoticneutralczech@feddit.org

  • You said many gynaecologists are creeps

Again, no.... what I expressed was that I was surprised by "how many." That's not any specific number when speaking in Modern English.

And I didn't say merely "creeps," but mentioned just as much the ones that don't seem to care very much about a woman's comfort. On top of that, there are plenty who seem to operate along the lines of 'I know what's best in terms of women's choices,' with an obvious one being those who refused to perform abortions upon otherwise strong reasons to do so.

And all that's based on the many, many testimonials and examples of women I've heard from or come across. Go to any popular womens forum and you're likely to hear the same.

Finally, I don't appreciate your attempts to mischaracterise me upon all that, for whatever reasons you're doing so.
