It doesn't take much to understand it. He's from Flint. If you know the area, there's a lot of reciprocal violence. He has previous offenses. It's hard to get out. He probably knows plenty of people who've had loaded guns around their kids and nothing ever happened.
Yes, he deserves the charges, but like, this isn't some gentrified place. As a society, we really aren't helping folks in depressed urban areas to get better lives either.
I'm glad my childhood beliefs are that Xmas cards should go out on December 1st and that you never directly refer to money someone gave you in a thank you card, but thank them for the generous gift.
Like anything in life, there's only so much that you can do, so I pick and choose my battles. The folks I don't support, I don't support. I don't really worry about the others.
People are assholes. If you don't want to monetarily support an asshole, you need to basically go off grid, stop interacting with any form of entertainment, or pretty much anything from any industry. It's just not feasible in today's society.
I find it bizarre that someone would ever pigeonhole themselves into one developer. I don't even know who makes games half the time. There's only one that I have blocked on Steam.
Yeah, I recall Spielberg being sad he made that movie and put so much misinformation about sharks into the world, since the movie contributed to the decimation of the shark population.
Well, it was common for schools back in the early-mid 1900s to force lefties to write with their right hands. Not just Catholic specifically, my grandmother's public school forced her to write right-handed.
But I can say that no one in the family was ex-communicated for being a lefty, and if they were, it was prior to the 1900s. You're right, OP's grandparents are just crazy unless OP was born in the 1920s or something.
I can only do a round or two before the particle effects hurt my eyes too much to continue. The new Among US DLC is really bad for that because you can get so many so early, and then extend for over an hour past the thirty minute mark. (That's about when I got bored and tried to do everything I could so the red deaths would kill me, so I don't know how long it would have gone).
I don't think we have enough nuance in our politics to have that as more than an idyllic dream.
