  • Honestly it was just a good game. I saw it attracting both Potterheads and non-Potterheads. (I would not consider myself a Potterhead).

Does it have a bunch of replay value? Not really (neither do a lot of games). But man, that initial playthrough was just really good. It also looks like I clocked 113 hours on the game, so that's a pretty decent return to me.

Also, despite the source material and the author, it had a lot of very inclusive elements, which were a nice touch.

  • The original comment said they took their family to Burger King and then you made up that they had it delivered and that was why it cost what it did.

I'm not sure why you decided to make that up when it didn't fit the comment, nor why you expected a full itemized list in a copy to price compare against, but ok.

  • omg.... but..but.. I.. I remember the logo... changing.... oh god.

    Berenstein is classic though.

  • I know some landlords in a nice area. They didn't raise rent on their renters because they were nice folks. Kept the house around $800 for them.

The renters died and they wanted to re-rent, so they looked at the prices in the area and set rent at $1200+.

Note: the $800/month paid all of the bills, upkeep, plus some to pocket. So now it's $400+ in their pockets. It's just price gouging at this point.

  • Has South Korea moved on from Internet Explorer for their banking yet?

  • At least do it outside or you'll get blood on the carpet.

  • Well, they ruled that he had no history of being a conscientious objector and did not put any previous effort into spreading his claimed ideology that would point to a history of it. One of the findings was that he didn't want to join the military because the 'orders were unfair.' PUBG was a small part of the argument that he was not as against war and violence as he claimed to be, but the article is on Kotaku, so they know their audience to get clicks.

To my knowledge, the current law is that if you say you're a conscientious objector, the alternative to military conscription is to work in a prison or correctional facility for 36 months. Getting the previous punishment of 18 months in prison is at least a shorter amount of time.

I wonder if he went to court to get the previous alternative of 18 months in jail over the 36 months of work. At least it's a shorter amount of your life.

  • Context clues. Scorch is usually a temperature word, not a spicy food word.

  • I also went to a public school. Kids were definitely singled out for the brands and perceived value of the clothes they wore. There was definitely a pressure to keep up with the latest trends and styles, including those at other schools around the city.

  • My friends all call it Valheim, but with cute fluffy animals.

The ability to customize difficulty settings is also a big hit.

  • There's also the push to teach abstinence only sex ed rather than educating about safe sex.

  • I pretend to be an elven paladin regularly. I'm not going to become an elven paladin.

  • You act like 'children should be seen and not heard' was in the distant past.

  • Some people put them next to each other and fold the top inside out over the 'pair' rather than put one inside of the other.

  • I only tie my shoes the first time I wear them. Double knot it and just slip-on/off.

  • I used to calculate garnishments in a previous job. There is a minimum take home pay that you have to get.

A low income job does mean less garnished wages, because you don't make enough to get over the threshold.

It's a similar method that some dead beat parents do to game the system out of having to pay child support. Sometimes they supplement with work under the table so they aren't living crappy lives and sometimes they just live crappy lives. You can live a long time off of spite.

  • You should look trying to move to a state before taking the loans. Plenty of states need teachers and are willing to pay for you to get your master's as part of retaining you.

  • The return policy is really what seals it for me. I've never had an issue with returning something, ever.

Other places make it such a hassle and make you pay to return it.
