i built a monster pc in 2024 and maxed out the RAM and CPU the motherboard could handle. New 4k monitor and a 32gb RTX video card. I think I spent about $1.5k
no way could I get that stuff for the same price. I could probably sell the parts for more
it's still a monster and in Linux, I can tweak it just a bit more to get everything it can give.
I'm thinking that the way games have progressed in the last 5 years, there's nothing on the horizon that says prepare for the new technology that will blow my mind
aat the very least, couples going to romantic locations to get it on... the solo masterbation potential for moral boosters and you know that they be trading programs with each other like dirty vhs
there was a story about someone kidnapping all the scooters and piling them up in one parking lot, cops were called
i think it was in the Seattle area. In my town, we have a river running through the central space and so many of these scooters end up in the river
when I was a trouble making boy, we'd steal bikes and build ramps to jump into the river on the bikes, they lower the river for a few months every year and it was always a good laugh to see how many bikes were piled up in our favorite spots
my hometown is full of deviants, so I'm never surprised about seeing that kind of behavior
my cameras are always catching some young person looking for trouble, taking one to know one I make sure to keep everything valuable out of sight and behind locks
LOL if that's the fix and the Android Security team won't fix it... jfc what a joke
I have a bunch of android based barcode scanners at work that we have to use adb to do some of the configuration setup. it's a powerful tool but it's not rocket science or anything more complicated than command line stuff
don't forget that some of chrome is encrypted and only Google gets to see the sauce
where as all of Firefox is available to look at, but it's a mess of years and years of building, so it's impossible to understand unless you're dedicated
i am reminded about this one time i was doing desktop support at a hospital. super smart doctor was having a problem and i asked them to recreate the problem for me
oh they did... and instantly clicked the error away when it showed up and then instantly looked at my for an answer
i asked them to do it again, same
i was flabbergasted... i had to point out that i need to know what that error was
"oh it's the same thing it always says" was the reply
thankfully i understood the the workflow and asked to sit and recreated the error again.... AND guess what? IT FUCKING TOLD THEM EXACTLY HOW TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM
