  • That's why it's doubly shameful of Germany to have this stance, and also a great pity. Germany calling out Israel for it's genocide would be as strong a rebuke as South Africa calling out Israel for Apartheid.

    Talking about the Israeli propaganda machine; in South Africa you have the South African Jewish Board of Deputies. An absolutely disgusting openly pro zionist and israeli organisation. They’re super rich so they always try to influence law or policy so that anything pro palestinian isn’t heard and that pro israeli messages must remain loud and clear.

    They lobby the national government, but especially the DA led Western Cape government the way that people describe the US lobbies do to the US government.

    Some people in Cape Town had the back of their houses facing the main roads and highways. So these residents decided to paint the Palestinian flag on those parts of their houses to show support.

    The DA government promptly sent police and public works councellors to force the residents to paint over the flag. Which was absolutely illegal of the government to do because it was private property. But because these people weren’t that well off they couldn’t fight back because law enforcement was there as well.

    It seems that each time Israel ramps up their genocidal intents they get materially and politically rewarded by certain countries. Specifically the US, UK, Germany, Australia. And more, to their shame.

    And they will be right in that assessment, as long as the US and all the other 'first world' nations keeps on sending them resources, blocking international laws from holding Israel to account, deflect attention away from the unfolding genocide Israel is commiting, attack institutions like UNRWA and countries like South Africa that are trying to help the Palestinians.

    So as you can see, everytime Israel escalates it's genocide against the Palestinians you won't hear a peep from these countries. You might a hear a token "Israel should defend itself within the law" while Israel is busy trampling on the latest international laws with their latest atrocities.

  • It truly boggles my mind that people are aware of these inhumane atrocities and will still defend Israel tooth and nail. I know a lot are bots but a lot are also defending Israel of their own accord.

    I feel like Israel, the US, Australia, most Europen countries, most so called 'first world nations' are responsible and absolutely complicit in dehumanising Palestinian people, and middle eastern people in general, for decades to the point where they can casually say that Israel should continue to ethnically cleanse and slowly genocide the Palestinians to defend themselves. And they will applaud themselves for saying this. In what fucking world does that make any kind of sense?

    Also, these countries casually talking about bombing Yemen for example, like it's a natural phenomenon. What fucking right do they have to go to a region far away from their countries', launch attacks at inhabitants of the region, and have the nerve to say they must defend themselves when these people being attacked retaliate.

    Imagine what would happen if any other country sailed around the world to the US or any of these other 'first world' nations, started attacking them because it was important to do so for their 'geopolitical interests in the region'.

    It shows how utterly despicable and ethically and morally bankrupt all these countries truly are.

    Apologies for the the long rant lol, i feel very strongly on this subject.

    When Russia tried to reach out to be more integrated with Western Europe they were continually rebuffed on orders from the US.

    There was no reason for this of course, the USSR already dissolved. No reason besides the US trying to prevent a united Europe.
