  • So, a photo of your kid with a sign you made?

  • Don't let them divide us. I just (five minutes ago) responded to what I think is a pretty clear plant (see misspelling of Mamdami's name). Whether someone isn't "Left-enough" to you or whatever, if they want to help people and want to beat the Repubs, try to bring them along.

There's the trope that Leftists fight each other and the right have solidarity. The first part is true. The second part is only true in that they unite around hate and fear and bigotry. That's why the orange dickbag kept firing his cabinet in the first admin. And though he brought a bunch of sycophantic ass-kissers this time, he's finally removing them too.

Let's work together to put these assholes in prison.

  • Nope, never.

Why do I care? Because Israel commits war crimes.

I've never watched Who Wants to be a Millionaire, or America's Got Talent, or So You Think You Can Dance (I'm in USA). I don't like that sort of content.

But I'd care a lot if we let someone from a genocidal nation, that literally indoctrinates their children to think of an entire people as less than human, to compete on our shows. Fuck Israel (not Jews, just that country).

  • More Mandani’s

Ok, this person is a fucking troll trying to sew division on the Left. Zorhan Mamdani proved that young people want progressive politics. This person doesn't know how to spell his name and they're claiming he's the reason we need to keep supporting Dems and "take over" the party when it's clearly already captured by the corporate class.

I think this person might be a right-wing plant trying to sabotage Leftist solidarity. They (the right) play dirty. Watch out. Don't become divided (said the person calling someone a plant; the irony is not lost on me).

Footnote: a person who genuinely cares about politics enough to want to take over the Dems with progressives would know (or at least look up) how to spell the name of the person they were using in their argument. A person who only wants to sew division might be stupid and not know they should double-check the spelling.

  • Beat me to it.

  • I'm happy to hear that Aussies are musically gifted. They shouldn't be in Eurovision either.

  • I typically want good things for all people, but I don't feel bad for people who knowingly worked for an evil company when bad things happen.

  • TLDR: Because they don't give a fuck about you or me or anyone who isn't a donor.

Repubs want to hurt you. Dems don't care that you exist. We need a third party (as if that's a new idea).

  • My partner has started using terminology that I use. I think she genuinely still saw the USA as possibly a good country and now she drops words like "corrupt," and "fraud," in places that weren't previously said when talking about our society.

My hope is that I'm merely providing scaffolding to articulate a thing that is felt but not discussed. I'm pretty sure a lot of USA citizens really need that.

  • Collins, New England’s lone federally elected Republican, is in the fight of her political life against the Democratic progressive upstart candidate Graham Platner. Platner, an oyster farmer and military veteran, has seized on anger directed at President Donald Trump and anti-establishment animus to rocket to the Democratic nomination — forcing Democratic Gov. Janet Mills to abandon her own Senate campaign within a matter of months. His yard signs dot the state’s backroads and neighborhoods, and he leads in almost every head-to-head poll against Collins.

Well, that's all I need to know. Support Trump? Fuck off. I ended my relationship with my mother over her support of that dirtbag. The first time, I couldn't figure out why she didn't know he was a liar. After ten years, she clearly doesn't care. She's a bad person. So is this lady.

  • I work at a state agency in California. Gavin Newsome issued a command (dunno the formal terminology) for state employees to be in the office 4 days per week. My union is fighting him on it.

Why might this "possible candidate for USA prez" do this? Certainly not bribes or donations from the landlords / corporate class who need to justify owning a lot of buildings!

My apt building is owned by a corp. Getting approval for the right repair due to a leak above us took two extra days after the vendor made a recommendation.

  • Israel isn't part of the EuroAsian continent. Regardless of whether they're committing a genocide (they are), they shouldn't be included. Also, fuck 'em.

  • Wrong. Beta means that. Alpha means "set everything on fire."

I'm not saying that you're wrong. I'm saying we have different definitions. Cheers!

  • Best advice I've seen in a long time.

  • You guys, all those employees contributing to their huge profits were actually a liability and now they'll be so much more efficient.

/s because people take sarcasm literally

  • I feel like that'd be the stats even if we didn't have a component disruption. Do all gamers build a new machine every year? They'd be broke (said the guy who buys / builds a lot of toys).

It's cool to phrase non-news as clickbait. 50% people think $MYTEAM will win the big game. Holy crap, that's news!
