  • This is tax avoidance, not tax evasion. The goal is to avoid owing taxes, not to avoid paying taxes owed.

    To the lowly taxpayer, it all looks the same, that they refuse to pay their fair share, but legally there's a pretty big difference.

    Thet get to say they raised money for charity but they don't get to claim it on their taxes.

    It's just a low-effort way for them to virtue signal.

  • If you put a simple vertical frame down the middle of it, you can put one bike on each side and even lock them with standard bike locks.

  • Except the article says the same thing that the title does. They explain that it does work but that they don't know why because by all expectations it shouldn't.

    A material that should make the alloy less resistant to corrosion actually makes it more so, and they can't explain why.

  • The one cool thing about this is that it's intended to run off a single cable plugged into the monitor for both power and display. That's where the interesting part ends.
