As a polytheist I just made Communism part of my religion. It's one of the up sides of polytheism you can just merge in whatever and no one can stop you. Polytheists have been doing it forever. I believe that spirituality is an important part of the human experience so I just make sure mine is harnessed in a liberatory direction. Of course I'm not sure how much use this will be to someone in your situation, but I figured I'd offer none the less.

It's good that this article is pointing out how the anti China AI stuff is mostly just "U.S." corporations doing their thing to crush competition, but it is sad that it never actually questions the attacks on China. It's basically the same type of complaints as their "anti-war" arguments, it's basically all about the procedures. It's not that the attacks are wrong, just that they're being done in a shady way.

I actually did have some of that in mind when I wrote my comment. Thanks for taking the time to write all of that out. You did a better job than I probably would have.

Oppressive societies automatically view needing help as a failing because of their built in tendency to view strength as right. The more communal a society becomes the more, I believe, we would see the opposite tendency come about.

Don't feel too bad about it. You're essentially arguing against the most well funded and insidious propaganda machine the world has ever known. This is part of why organizing is important because together we have more of a chance of fighting against that than we do as individuals.
