  • Wow, the scale of it is preposterous!

I can't believe we are not indirectly ruled by these billionaires.

They sure keep us in the dark just healthy and sane enough to keep grinding so they can get better tech, better health and hopefully life extension treatments if they don't have them already.

    It's all a fucking joke.

  • The human and logical thing to do would be offer these fruits to people to pick for free.

This measure is capitalist because they'd rather throw away food than giving away something without profit or even damaging to other producer's margin.

This is all kinds of fucked up and is totally related to capitalism incentives.

  • They won't learn shut until we revolt.

  • Thank you for the suggestion, but the use of "will" here is on purpose though.

  • Oh my god, you are the very reason the world is so fucked up.

You'll gleefully side with your oppressor rather that being a little bit tolerant with other ways of living different than yours.

  • I guess oil companies dont want competition... So fuck the environment and fuck your tax dollars.

  • Still, no conviction and from the looks of it far better president than his american counterparts.

You dont know what you have until you loose it.

Look at Argentina if you want a good example.

  • What are your sources to say Lula is corrupt?

His legal cases have been largely discredited as political persecution rather than genuine corruption: the UN Human Rights Committee concluded that his trials violated due process and the presumption of innocence, the Brazilian Supreme Court annulled his conviction in 2021 after finding the presiding judge Sergio Moro was biased and lacked jurisdiction, and Moro himself later ran against Lula as a political candidate — revealing a clear conflict of interest that undermined the entire prosecution.

  • Well maybe you should know the following:

Lula's legal cases have been largely discredited as political persecution rather than genuine corruption: the UN Human Rights Committee concluded that his trials violated due process and the presumption of innocence, the Brazilian Supreme Court annulled his conviction in 2021 after finding the presiding judge Sergio Moro was biased and lacked jurisdiction, and Moro himself later ran against Lula as a political candidate — revealing a clear conflict of interest that undermined the entire prosecution.

  • Its interesting that having a relative that "Died for this country" serves as a tool to further entrench nationalism.

Almost like it has its purpose by its own. Right?

  • Fair point.

  • And yet again China seems to be the sane country doing what's best for its people.

  • Yes, the good old letting perfect be the enemy of good!

  • I highly doubt Idiocracy central premise is eugenics.

I would argue that, the dangers of convenience, cults of personality and overall enshitification are.

  • Is military finished, and err... Economically finished! Yes! As and also psycologically finished.

    But... Not Espsteinly finished...
