Digg refugee now Reddit refugee

  • Yep, I think you might have highlighted a bug, Certain it is happening in firefox , and is not present on the android app.Have learnt to ignore it , almost always my comment has been added.

Edit yep immediately clicked on comments open new tab and my comment is here where as it is still spinning in the other tab. So probably a bug rather than overload.

  • That sounds very plausible

  • Realistic assessment but the way reddit's ceo is going ,I think we will see more exodus 1st july and again shortly after that, I do think reddits bad news train has only just left the station.

  • This, methinks we have a wondrous opportunity to develop something just better.

  • Read the thread if you have not , some really good ideas and recommendations here IMO

  • Luckily there are a large number of instances , and I hope that will also grow now the "place that shall not be named" exodus has begun, I think the greater numbers and variety will improve the gene pool so to speak I sort of hope that really large reddit subs might start there own instances.

  • This is a sound plan, even if it is only temporary till we hit that critical mass

  • Are, yep it links but does not show the posts or the correct number of subscribers, although it appears I could post, so that's something 👍 thanks

  • Great comment imo

  • Yep bit of a problem ATM, I made two accounts one kbin one lemmy world and made communities in both , I was able to see kbin from a lemmy instance but not now for some reason any help appreciated 🙏

  • LOL

  • Yep, not sure what's up with music feedback, it was created on kbin and I think I have accessed kbin from lemmy without needing two different accounts but ATM I need to be logged into kbin to access it any help appreciated

  • OMG I have experience,so glad you got it sorted and good luck with the community.

  • If you do some googleing there are some pretty good faqs out , although it did take me a while, good luck

  • Yep it would be good if the ecosystem could stop shutting off instances and find other ways of coping especially as it seems most often it is just a lack of preparedness for the numbers , lets just drive users to instances with the capacity

  • This is why I posted, I really think we need to concentrate on unique content now so when the next influx comes we not all naval gazing

  • Good question , hopefully someone will know cos I ain't got clue

  • Check your profile to see if you mod anything

  • Yep, sometimes this is happening to me I just open another tab and often the circle spin is irrelevant and the post or whatever has already been created , seems to be a issue with the system.

  • good idea
