  • So what is your plan of action to get it?

  • Read some articles about his campaign events and what he has done in the recent period of time.

  • Really, majority are "Nazi-aligned"? What planet are you living on?

  • That's pretty bleak, and luckily, totally wrong.

  • Yes, I have been paying attention. This is the most brazen attack on journalists and Red Cross in one single incident. I stand by what I wrote, (even if it's not really that important).

  • Platner's evolution is what is important, not some dumb fucking tattoo.

  • Nazi?? Really??

  • Thanks for that. I have had paywall issues with Zeteo in the past, so I thought the FB post would work better. I'll try direct URL next time. 🙂

  • Getting past the sarcasm, what is your solution? I think a democratic, secular Palestine for all is very sensible and fair.

  • First, Temple Israel is a Jewish synagogue, not a Zionist headquarters. Even if 99% of the congregants support Israel, that still wouldn't change that fact. And guess what? It's probably significantly less than 99%. And that percentage keeps dropping by the month because of the unrelenting atrocities by Israel.

But terrorist attacks against Jewish institutions (even by someone deranged by grief) don't help that process at all. Both real antisemitism and fake charges of antisemitism are on the rise. We need to be smart enough to know the difference in order to advance the liberation of Palestine, and humanity in general.

  • don't know what happened - sorry

  • Give us some examples, please. I think that is a gross misstatement.

  • The NYT is a mouthpiece of liberal imperialism, no doubt. But in being that, it often reports things that the gutter press like the Post does not. From the Pentagon Papers of the 1970s to exposures of Israeli crimes in Gaza recently, it often supplies material not found elsewhere.

Call them out when appropriate, which is probably at least a few times per day. (like Assal Rad does.) But boycott, no, I can't go along with that. It doesn't help us.

  • 🙂

  • Huh? This article is not anti-Islamic or anti-Palestinian. If the NYT prints something useful, I have no problem posting it.

  • Sorry, GC, but you are mistaken here. The introduction from World-Outlook gave some very clear evidence that there is genuine anti-Semitism on the rise world-wide, including the US. I don't know the details on Amsterdam, but I do know that the attack in Michigan was genuine. (I sympathize with the attacker, who lost family to Israeli bombing. But blowing up children is a bad way to fight Zionism.)

There is both a rise in real anti-Semitism, along with the Zionist (ADL, AIPAC, etc.) slander campaigns against supporters of Palestine, falsely accusing them of anti-Semitism. Both need to be combatted.

  • Can you elaborate on that?I was using a gift link, but I didn't call it out because some Lemmy admins object to gift links.

So I usually link the non-gift URL and then add an archive in the body of the post. But this time the archive didn't work, so I stayed with the gift URL.

  • The kickboxer is competing as a male.

  • That depends. In this case, just fine.
