  • None of the things they mentioned actually require much resources at all. Even if this person worked a part-time job, there’s no reason this life should be unobtainable. The reality we’ve been given unfortunately doesn’t allow for this though.

  • This is one of those things that my mind refuses to believe actually looks like this. My mind can’t wrap itself around the idea that somehow moving faster than the waves that create sound creates a visual effect that noticeably bends light and it makes a wildly cool sound in the process? Now you’re being greedy.

  • 3,786th day in a call center…

    Still no.

  • I suppose my tone was a little off. I shouldn’t imply that it’s wrong to not pursue an album or that it’s a more correct approach to do so.

  • The album thing has bothered me for a long time. There are now tons of “internet artists” that all seem to release one or two singles every six months and that’s just how they release music.

Albums aren’t just about a limitation of the medium. It’s about putting a concept together that’s bigger than a 3-5 minute idea you had one day. It’s about capturing a time of that artist’s or group’s life and progress. It gives you the chance to bind all of those tracks together and organize them in a way that you think will help guide your audience.

With single-only releases, you may never really get to know the artist or what emotion they may be trying to convey in a greater sense. Or worse, all of their singles just sound like “them” and never evolve beyond that.

  • What’s ligma?

  • I would imagine the Christmas classics get watched more than anything else. Especially things like It’s A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Compare that to just about anything else and most people probably only revisit other old/b&w movies on the rare special occasion a lot less often than those.

  • That thing looks straight out of Demolition Man. Sick as hell.

  • For me, the trackpads are specifically useful for mouse controls, not for precision. I’m a couch gamer and tired of having to reach for my mouse or keyboard just to do one thing and then grab my controller again.

With the trackpads, I also get the virtual keyboard. Another killer feature.

  • Yep. The trackpads are 90% of why I want this controller. It’s such a killer feature.

  • Not sure what to tell you but I have plenty of quite attractive dudes in my subscriptions and most of them are just gaming YouTubers.

  • I use my gaming desktop on my TV. Especially for games where you’re only occasionally doing inventory management for instance, it can be nice to use touchpads for the 1:1 input every so often. Also a lot of RTS games that would otherwise be unplayable or at least difficult from the couch are suddenly accessible.

Add in Valve’s recent reputation for repairability and open communication and it’s a hard combination to beat.

  • This is a smear campaign against lizards. /s

  • Common misconception. This only works for Japanese DVDs.

  • You could also theoretically do it in the texturing step with a displacement modifier using the new(er) dynamic scaling.

  • Bingo. This will only encourage those drivers to push it to their set limit giving them no room to correct. Also, handling gets fucky when accelerating and letting off at the top, which is right when the suspension would be loaded.

These drivers should really just have their licenses revoked and their cars taken. Driving should be a privilege, not an expected right when given that you can easily kill people in the process.

  • Omelette Du Fromage

  • They should have used a 💩 for the AI artists instead.

  • Beautiful picture. I can smell it. Wish I was there right now.
