  • What little things do you do each day that are your small ways of sticking it to the man?

  • Our community library is hosting a free repair clinic to residents, where volunteers like me make ourselves available for a few hours to fix things for no cost. Bicycles, toasters, lamps, clothing, pretty much anything that doesn't have hazardous chemicals or weighs too much to bring in. The residents are expected to stay with us as we fix things so that maybe we can teach them what we do.

    It's my first time volunteering for an event like this so I can't wait to see how it goes.

  • Explore the galaxy. (some of) The procedurally-generated worlds are amazingly beautiful. You can make pets with fauna by feeding them and eventually they will bond with you.

  • In my world I'd adopt the West Wing teacher philosophy: competition to be a teacher should be fierce and pay should start at six figures. You all are literally shaping the world's future and yet many teachers I know have to purchase their own supplies and deal with thick headed administrators that place politics over pedagogy.

  • They aren't, and they better not. The old FCC was vigilant about protecting frequencies and hams will sometimes even be the ones who find the offender and turn over the information to the authority. The fines are not cheap.

    We practice this with foxhunts and capture the flag activities.
