  • Naja, ich sehe eine Erbschaftsteuer immer als eine "Notfallsteuer", weil der Staat es nicht gebacken bekommt vermögen zu besteuern. Wenn man Vermögen (Und bei großem Vermögen auch vor allem Vermögenszuwachs) richtig besteuern würde, wäre eine Erbschaftststeuer meiner Meinung nach Überflüssig. Denn das Geld ist dann schon anständig versteuert.

    Solange man das nciht geschissen bekommt muss man halt notfällig alle 20 bis 40 Jahre mal zugreifen.

  • I have toyed with the thought of framework laptops a few times. But the pricing is just too high. I rather buy used company laptops ~3 years afterwards and get way cheaper high quality laptop. Plus, buying used is pretty much always better than buying new in an environmental sense.

  • I am pretty sure that already happened. Any bigger (or even many smaller) companies have disaster recovery plans if one of the higher ups dies or vanishes. There is a high likelihood that the next valve leader is already fixed or at least a Gremium to get to there.

  • Der Vorschlag geht schon hart über. Solange die alternativen noch nicht richtig ausgebaut sind ist v.a. das Fahrverbot von 0 bis 6 für junge Fahrer richtig assig. Ich weiß nicht was AT macht, aber DE hat da Betriebsstopp bei Bahn und oft auch bei Bussen. Man kommt also gar nicht mehr heim. Auch die Fokussierung auf das Fahrzeuggewicht finde ich befremdlich. Da würde ich eher die Größe sehen, um die dicken SUVs auszumisten.Die Formulierung, dass die Fahrerlaubnis "abläuft" hört sich auch nicht ganz passend an. Das hört sich an als würde ich den Führerschein von 0 an machen müssen, nicht einen machtest. Da würde doch eher "Aussetzung" passen?

    Aber naja, davon wird bei der ausartung eh nichts kommen.

  • Ich weiß auch nicht, warum das erst ab 60 soll. Bis 60 alle 5 oder 10 Jahre, ab 60 doppelter Intervall, ab 80 jährlich oder so.

    Nur weil Leute jünger sind, heißt das nicht, dass es dort keine Probleme gibt. Zudem wurde eine Wissensauffrischung alle paar Jahre gut tun. Eine Theoretische Prüfung, die den Schwerpunkt auf den Änderungen seit der letzten Prüfung hat und so.

  • Die Kleidervorschriften bekamen die Schüler heuer mit der Schulstart-Information ausgehändigt. Darin wird aufgeführt, was die Schülerinnen und Schüler alles nicht im Unterricht tragen dürfen: Jogginghosen, Hotpants, Leggings, zu kurze beziehungsweise bauchfreie Shirts sowie Tops mit Spaghettiträgern. Für Röcke und kurze Hosen gelte: nicht kürzer als eine Handbreit über dem Knie.

    Steht doch dabei? Alles in allem Recht ausgeglichen zwischen beiden. Trotzdem finde ich solche Kleiderordnungen immer als befremdlich. Sollen die sich doch kleidertechnisch ausleben. Hier geht's noch gut bevor man ins Arbeitsleben gesogen wird.

    Aber nagut, Private Schule die scheinbar zur Kirche gehört - Frommheit und Beklemmtheit gehört da zum Programm. Für 130€/Monat.

  • I do pay for YouTube premium. This means the creator of the video gets payed by watchtime. Why should I pay for watching an in-video ad?

    For normal users it doesn't matter, as the creator is payed by view, not watchtime. And from what I know, sponsor deals are either fixed value or fixed value per X views. So it doesn't impact them if people are skipping.

  • You can, but you should configure your server in a way that this shouldn't be a security feature of your setup (e.g. key-auth as OP did). It does help to cut back on uninvited guests a lot tho.

  • You can set up firewall rules that limit connections to certain ports. For example, you can disallow connections to everything but port 22 (which ssh runs on) to only allow access to the ssh server from outside. Same with VPN.

    Read up on ufw (or iptables if you want to do it lower level and have a drink on hand).

    That being said: thunderbolt is still great for verification. If it says thunderbolt you exactly know what it can do and that it should work as expected. USB-4 will be plastered on anything that can do only plain usb4 speeds.
