  • Oops, fixed!

  • I feel pain.

  • LMAO I just don't want to encourage people to open the sketchiest .exe they find online without a second thought

  • You shouldn’t grant an executable admin privileges if you’re not sure what it does.

  • And we have already the highest number of monthly active users!

  • Can you please try with that sub? Of course, you can un-subscribe right after. Just as a sanity check, because for me it does not appear.

    Thank you,

  • I'm sorry but it doesn't fully work here. 'of' phonetically should not be spelled with a 'f', so they are already using a word that is not pronounced as it is written, might as well use "would've", which removes the part that isn't pronounced as it was traditionally "ha-", but at least it's still correct.

They use 'of' because they don't understand (or pay attention to) the grammar of what they're saying.

  • Typing "should of" is a sign of failing to understand the basics of English grammar.

  • Fuuuu, it's 5 am. Guess I really must go now. "Party" now, cry in the (late) morning.

  • I'm really loving Lemmy.

I posted and commented more here in a few days than several years on Reddit!! (and I'd never made a sub there)

  • Hell yeah, high five up top and fist bump 👊 😎, bro or sis or enby LOL

No, but we'll eventually work on our priorities, right... right? 🥲🫠🤡

  • ooh I would be down to contributing to something like neuropsychology and ask-science communities!

  • I forget even important names, and people are shocked when they see I can't tell them who X is, and I have to come up with some excuse as to why I couldn't say it 🫣

  • Mlem doesn't either.

But, then, the user who had this refresh issue was using the web version, which does have search.

I was just personally annoyed cuz I tried to help many people here and it sucks repeating yourself when the info is out there. Of course, it's okay to ask if you don't understand, though.

  • Does the app have auto-refresh?

  • Looks great!

  • Assuming the content is not on a community that hasn't been discovered by your instance yet, then you can just use the search button on the top right. You have filters for posts / comments / communities / etc. You can also search on a specific community only.

  • I don't want to be mean, but this has been asked SO many times in the past few days. A quick search will bring up several threads with answers.

  • The mistake is reading those "news" in the first place...
