  • Good question, I have no idea. I wasn't even sure this was going to post. I just pasted the images in from the clipboard.

  • I thought that was Eye of the Beholder 2 at first.

Reviews for this seem pretty good mind.

  • Wow, these companies are making it really easy for me to walk away. Thanks for the 15 years Twitter (I barely used you for the last 6 or so).

  • It's so hard to get excited for a lap here as I'm just waiting for it to be deleted. These track limits are not making this fun. Cutting corners I can accept, but outside track limits in this case feel too much.

  • Reddit is far too recognizable of a name to die. Myspace still exists today, as does Digg. It may have peaked and shifted from its original vibe, and will continue to shift, but with it it'll still live on as the investors try to figure out ways to claw back their money.

I'm sure in ten years time you'll be able to visit reddit.com and be fed some cleansed ad friendly news feeds snuggled between ads, pointing you to content funded by marketing money. Just go to Digg right now and you'll see it.

  • This is like the discovery of the Rosetta stone.

  • And wash away the raaaaaaain.

  • Nope. Once the announcement was made about the blackout I found Lemmy, removed Reddit from my favourites, abandoned Apollo and closed the chapter.

    • Newsgroups
    • Old forums
    • Digg
    • Reddit
  • I recently told a friend about it having read it back when it came out. I've since lost my copy, but said friend arrived with one a few weeks ago as a gift. I'm looking forward to diving back into the insanity of it again. It's a page turner, and twister, and rotator.

  • I'm willing to bet that Perez isn't going to end this season in second place. He's going to need some turnaround to best Alonso's form. If Aston keeps the updates coming then that car is going to improve more, and perhaps Merc the same.

  • Dunno about best, but I had a few instances where I posted a thread only for it to be deleted by a mod and then reposted by them. Gotta farma that karma. I maybe could have disputed it, but getting into a tussle over someones love for numbers that go up feels a bit pathetic.

  • According to witnesses, there was a strong smell of gas before the blast.

Might be important. Given the wild nature of events right now, this might not be a terrorist related event.

  • I have a friend who wanted to get into F1 this year. He was looking forward to supporting Ricciardo as they both support the same football team, so he was pretty sad to hear that he didn't have a drive. Four races in and he bowed out saying he might watch the highlights, but overall the races are too boring to watch.

I can understand his problem, a lot of the skill is not easily seen given how good the field is. F1 doesn't (often) have drivers slamming into each other and spinning off. F2/3 deliver much more in that space. Albon's race craft last Sunday was exceptional, an absolute joy to watch, but I guess not if you're hoping to see some mad cap overtakes and wild moves

  • That’s not food. That’s sadness in polystyrene.

  • Speeding past the scene of the crime isn't good and should be discouraged, but man, Haas and Nico losing front row sucks.

  • Not really without a lot of work. The good thing is that there's already Apollo inspired apps available. Mlem, and Memmy support iOS and they're getting better by the day. I'd recommend checking them out and contributing feedback. You should soon have your Apollo style experience.
