If it’s any consolation, my printer’s about as old and Linux Mint seemed to just recognise it the moment I turned the printer off and on again. Might be one thing to cross off the list quickly!!

It may not even be them being cheap, just that most people/organisations not directly tech-focused simply aren’t inclined to update software. Like wearing clothing until it starts to fall apart. That trend is another nail in the coffin
Still have Windows 11 on my laptop just to get around the fact that some games that are definitely compatible won't start on my pc (also too lazy to get those games starting on there). The moment I have a Steam Machine I'm getting this laptop straight onto an operating system it deserves!!

My PC turns 8 in August, if it weren’t for the power supply dying in an unfortunate autoclicker accident then all of its original parts would still have been in there after all this time. Switching to Linux made it almost feel new again after all this time having it
Certainly feels like they’re stuck in a spiral of cutting in the name of getting out of the red after closing the Halifax and Stockholm studios. Not sure how much of a company they’ll have left by the end of it
