  • I am going to be the minority here, but I also rarely see people use bike lanes. I live in the north end and don't often go downtown where I know more people are biking. At least on N 125th/130th, Pinehurst Way, and even Campus Way near North Seattle College, it is a shock seeing anyone use the bike lanes at all.

I drive those routes five days a week. I am not against bike lanes, but... at a certain point when you don't see people using them you start questioning whether they need to be everywhere.

  • The filing should be easy. Proving it might be tough. He knows enough to deny, defend, depose.

  • That's a fair point to bring up. You're right that it is an investment that has paid for itself in terms of a streaming service. Much better than hooking a laptop up to a TV and playing files directly, forgetting which episode you are on, or where you stopped watching a movie when you want to resume.

My thought with Jellyfin is that I don't generally watch outside my home network. I have sent invites to friends to watch my library, but none do. So most of the features I don't use at all. I could have saved myself the money, learned how Jellyfin works, and probably set it up exactly how I currently use Plex by now.

  • I bought a plex pass about 5 years ago. I figured it would be a reasonable long term investment. I am starting to think I should have just gone with Jellyfin to start with.

  • D'oh. Yes, it is a stationary recumbent bike.

  • Yeah I am right there with you. I constantly am checking the stopwatch. When I am actively playing a match I dont look. 8 minutes goes by. Really makes the cardio not the focus and by extension I get the workout in without noticing

  • I got a recumbent bike from a sale at a big box store. Set up a Steam Link (yes i know its old as fuck) and a Steam Controller. I play my library of games while I bike. The last few years I play Fall Guys for anywhere from 30-60 minutes at a time.

Great cardio. I forget I'm even doing it. Usually burn around 300-500 in a session a few times a week. All that said, I still eat like shit and can't lose weight... BUT I am not putting any on. So thats nice I guess.

  • This is one of the reasons I went with AMD for my latest GPU. Not that NVIDIA sucks, I just didnt want the hassle.

  • Clutch it like a cornerstone

  • I agree. The unfortunate thing is that many young people online are so vitriolic toward those older than them it is hard to make that connection. Case in point the person above attacking someone for what seemed like no reason.

  • I'm a millenial. I don't need your approval and never asked for it.

You're the one stuck on generational infighting.

  • It had few actual laughs and most episodes did feel like filler. Not the worst sitcom, but not the best.

  • No war but class war. I will defend my Gen X brothers and sisters to the end.

  • Yeah I get that there are several sects of Christianity, just like any other religion. The Pope has no authority over non-Catholics. That said, you would think that even some Protestants would see this as an affront to the teachings of Jesus and cast out the bad ones in their midst.

  • All I want to know is when the church will start booting these guys to the curb and denouncing them.

  • There are two schools of thought when it comes to firearms. One is I am defending, the other is I am taking. Often times those who suggest guns are in the latter camp.

  • Can't eat bullets. Enough people already have guns, so you're more likely to be shot if you try anything.

  • Taste is subjective. I think its pretty good!
