I figured out the cause. It's because of the setting "match whole word". Because brackets are considered a "word boundary" they cannot be within the match itself.

Think of it like this: when match whole word is on, it will only start checking if something matches after it encounters a word.

So let's say you have the text "[brackets] are cool" and you are looking for "[brackets]" then the search only starts when it sees the "b" so it tries to match "brackets" to "[brackets]" which is obviously not equal so it will fail the match.

The fix is to turn off "match whole word". That setting should only be on for filters that contain a single word. I could look into adding a warning for cases like this.

I tried doing that to a moth and accidentally threw it against the wall. Not sure if i killed it but I didnt see it afterwards :(

I just tested this. I created a post with the title "some other post". Then I filtered by "other post" and the post was filtered. Do you have a more concrete example?

I also tried your exact example. I made a post "Hello world", filtered by "hello world" and it got filtered.

My favorite three movies are Toy Story 3 (for nostalgia reasons), Spirited away and City of god.

I'm willing to concede that Toy Story 3 isn't that good but the other 2 are amazing movies IMO.

I'm not usually an apple fanboy, but it's hard to hate on the M1 MBP. I have one used (around $800) and it's still insane after all these years. Just a great laptop even today. Really hard to find anything better at that price.

In this case though, I don't think it's "shitty and overpriced" given the pricepoint. Of course that's subjective, I'm speaking more from an average person's viewpoint. I know people who started with the A1 and it was fine. The company is just garbage.

I don't have a spare 6tb drive either so i would need to buy one.

Besides, i already have a plex lifetime membership so most of the new changes do not affect me.

I could just risk it and do the upgrade raw, but I would be pretty upset if I lost my data due to the switch.

The other big change introduced in 1.82 is the inclusion of per-user scores. You may notice these scores appear beside usernames. They display the total times you've upvoted a particular user minus the times you've downvoted them. Credit to Voyager which I think is where this idea came from initially.
