Most of my comics include some hand drawn elements but all start off as a generated images of somesort. You still need to be an artist to do this stuff well, I'm just open and honest about my methods. Thanks for reading!
Yeah I always thought the k in kbin represented "karma bin" so you can have a reddit alt that still had profile karma. That's why his speech gets cut off in the first response "ye-" like saying "yes but kbin has.." etc.
I was worried this assumption would be made, but the only thing I want to project here is the dday pun. I didn't mean to infer one being allied or axis, which is also why I didn't put lemmy in the fog.
I love mine. I used it as a remote PC for 2 years on my skoolie bus conversion. If your work is compatible with linux and don't need a lot of intense specs (or can cloud all the heavy labor), then you'll be just fine.
It's been fixed so maybe an older instance of my post body is on your end? Good to know that sometimes edits revert for some people so I'll be sure to triple check my URLs before posting.
If a true reddit migration does happen (which I honestly doubt for a number of reasons, technical issues aside) and selfhosting is too expensive, I'm confident the community here can funnel a means to support the server without introducing ads to the feed or site directly.
I can picture a mall for Lemmy merch. Kurzgesagt discusses their financing in this video and paralleling that business model with trendy bullshit sounds like a winner to me. Lemmy.world Calendar anyone?
