Why did Jordan not do the same for West Bank?

  • Israel traded hundreds of people for 1 soldier, they do care about their civilians that's why they are fighting a war against the most evil regime on earth currently (right after Iran, Syrian Assad and Hezbollah), but you don't reward hostage taking with negotiations because it will only encourage that behavior. Israel did it with Shalit, which encouraged Hamass to take even more hostages, knowing full well that that is Israel's weakness. This time, Hamass gets fucked in the ass for taking hostages so bad they're gonna squeel like a piggy, and don't ever think about taking hostages again.

  • Yeah "offered" a deal when Hamass got their asses fucked so much it stated bleeding. They want an unconditional full ceasefire which ain't gonna happen buddy. Full ceasefire only when Hamass releases the hostages, surrenders all weapons and agrees to end their almost 20 year old tyrannical and terror based rule on Gazans.

    You (Hamass) attacked on Oct 7 knowing full well that the opposite side was gonna rip you and your family a new one, now bear the consequences.

  • I don't think you ever took even economics 101 in school because for almost all products there exists a price where you can actually increase your profits by decreasing the price because the larger sales volume offsets the revenue lost. Applies to your fridge example as well. You just assumed the same sales in both scenarios which is not even close to being realistic. And your Nvidia/AMD example ignores the high inflation seen during that period.

  • My favorite was the first Talos Principle, TP2 is also great, but the suspense in the story of 1 was so much I found it hard to put the game down (My Steam year in review shows I played it for 37 days straight). The puzzles in TP1 were also harder (TP2 had hard optional puzzles but the story was so long that I lost all will to do even 1 more puzzle by the game end, plus there's no fast travel to those optional puzzles)

    I didn't like Titanfall 2 on the Steam Deck, the game is fine, but FPS games just dont work for me with joysticks.

  • In these situations I just keep checking, and making sure every move is a check to avoid stalemate. Mate in 1 or Mate in 49 I don't care I just want the win.
