Just a corn on the internet.

  • While Ukraine certainly has some issue with nationalism (The Azov Brigade is the first thing that comes to my mind) given that this article comes from Hungary I can't help feeling that it is a bit of a hit piece. Hungary itself isn't quite a forerunner of protecting minorities and given what I've heard about Péter Magyar this isn't going to change by much.

  • Well, even "average" has it's place. Had HR try to guilt trip me once by claiming "You only deliver average work compared to coworker X".

Thing is I was working on an unfamiliar tech stack and X was/is insanely good at what they did/do. So I said "Under the given circumstances I take that as a praise". Of course HR didn't see it that way but I didn't stay long with the company anyway.

  • Isn't it Turkish custom to kinetically stop Russian fuckery in such cases? Could get interesting.

  • I must not mock. Mocks are the mind-killer. Mocks are the little-death that brings total system failure. I will fully implement my tests. I will permit the tests to pass over me and through me. And when the tests have passed, I will turn the inner eye to see their path. Where the mocks have gone there will be nothing. Only green will remain.

  • Letting those marketing fuckwits on the internet was a mistake ...

  • Mercenaries are professionals, though. This phenomenon is about ordinary or at least commonly criminal people.

  • A speed weave loom? Never heard of that before. Looks cool, though!

  • You know, there's a pattern with these resignations ...

    As a non-American: Which is ... ?

  • Things were easier when everyone rushed for bird poo.

  • Oi, mate!

  • More info please. At least printer model and slicer software used.

At first glance it looks like to nozzle is too far from the bed.

  • AFAIK it goes to both. However as far as I understand the whole situation the Devs get a massive payout if the game reaches a set number of purchases during early access. The amount is so high that the publisher fears that publishing the game is going to be a net negative for them (the publisher). This is why the publisher has tried everything legal and supposedly illegal to get out of paying this bonus.

So in short: The money goes to both but if you want to screw the publisher buy it during early access.

  • I think similar how the EU adopted the USB-C as mandatory standard for charging, it should force other industries, including software vendors, to follow commonly defined standards.

In case of browsers that is Chrome using it's de facto monopoly to force other browser to rush to catch up with their custom crap. Yes, as a side effect that would also break a lot of existing webpages because they rely heavily on browser bending over backwards to accommodate sites serving effectively broken HTML i.e. but in the long term this would improve the internet as a whole.

  • I assume it's not so easy to hit a jet at altitude and cruising speed with a small drone.

Missiles are still the preferred way of shooting one down and Airforce One or escorting flights certainly have various countermeasures available.

  • *insert GTA5 meme here *

  • That's not an argument against PRUSA.

  • Sure, but then what's the difference between having your encrypted database on the password managers cloud server or any other?
