No offense but this is a bad take. They didn't normalize DRM. DRM was a thing before steam was around. And DRM companies like Denuvo are going to Game Devs and Publishers to sell them their DRM, not steam.
Sr. Systems Admin here. IT does not give 2 shits about what you browse UNLESS something is reported or something trips our Alerts (has to be something major like Child Porn).
We don't sit there and actively monitor and watch what you are browsing. We investigate when something is reported by a worker or an Alert/Filter gets tripped
Lol TBH while this sucks it's hard to have any sympathy. You chose some weird ass off brand ISP. A company that even I, someone who is in IT has never heard of, did absolute zero research before dropping money. Then to top it all off you didn't go through your bank to attempt to get them to handle it and get your money back or at the very least charge back the fuck out of them?
