  • It’s definitely not useless, it blocks a ton.

There’s only a few sites, like YouTube it doesn’t help much on.

  • Yeah it’s just a frontend for Borg (which is great).

I just mount and browse in Nautilus. I have a mount script aliased to open-backup.

  • Hmm no notification. Not yet anyway.

iOS 17.1 on an iPhone 12

  • Works fine for me. Maybe instance related?

All your instances seem to be BE: 0.18.5

  • Can I get a reply?! :p

  • GOOD.

  • To somewhat quote Jurassic Park… hackers… find a way.

  • Well yeah, since when is Hamas a threat to America?

  • Such a dumb comparison for the headline …

  • What do you think other word processors do today? Libreoffice?

  • Elon’s intelligence is indeed artificial, so …

  • I get 5 Chinese spam calls a day… since turning on live voicemail they’ve mostly stopped, and the ones that make it through get deleted without me listening to them.

Yes it’s a lot for an app… but also it’s the cost of 2.5 meals at McDonalds so decide if that’s worth it to you?

  • Exactly. I’m sure this has taken a ton of time. Lots is offered for free. There are many alternatives if you want to go elsewhere.

Realistically, there aren’t a ton of people here using the app that would pay right now. Hence, the price is a little higher.

If someone wants to volunteer tons of hours to make an app for free that’s fine, but that’s their choice. Nothing wrong with asking for a bit of compensation for something that is not trivial to make at all.

  • Yeah I find it a lot snappier in Fedora than on windows.

  • Welcome back! Seems like a great base to build off of.

    Great attitude too. 😊

  • AFAIK Libreoffice only uses Java for limited things and isn’t a requirement.

    Pretty sure it’s mostly C++
