  • People usually don’t reply when I bring receipts. That can be for several reasons, including the unlikely case where they learn that they may actually have been wrong. But I bring the receipts more for the lookie-loos than the interlocutor, anyway.

    you seem unaware or just dismiss that professional workers with higher education get a higher wage and, therefore, better living conditions.

    I’m fully aware of all of that, but those aren’t things you asserted nor things I disputed. My point was that 1) PJ is a dim bulb despite his education, and that 2) some of us on Lemmygrad do have a bourgeois college education while also being working class; they’re not mutually exclusive.

    I never really thought about Lemmygraders’ education, but I don’t think post-secondary education is rare here. A college education doesn’t liberate one from selling one’s labor, inheritance & nepotism do, mostly.
