  • Epic store doesn't support stream deck and the UI is crap. But, in a capitalist society with minimal government intervention to protect consumers, effective competition is the thing that can help keep companies in check.

  • Really interesting question. Specifically thinking about out in the wild west I can imagine 2 scenarios.

    1. is that everyone would go to church on a Sunday and perhaps get an idea on what neighbours are doing: planting, harvesting, etc.

    2. It's the weather & season that defines when crops should be planted, rather than a fixed date.

  • 400ml to pint size cans are common in the UK. But I noticed in Sweden for example smaller 330ml cans are available - also available in UK but no where near as common.

  • Can confirm! I bought one on sale which never connected to Bluetooth on my Samsung android (though documentation suggested it should.) connected to partners iPhone though. Anyway I used for less than 3 months before it stopped charging. I then went back to using the £25 I'd had for many years.

  • "I joke with people and say it's the Air Force's oldest IT system. But it's the age that provides that security,” Rossi said in an October interview. "You can't hack something that doesn't have an IP address. It's a very unique system — it is old and it is very good."

In 2016, the Government Accountability Office wrote that SACCS runs on an IBM Series/1 computer dating from the 1970s and that the Defense Department planned “to update its data storage solutions, port expansion processors, portable terminals and desktop terminals by the end of fiscal year 2017,” but it’s unclear whether those upgrades have occurred.

  • I'm in the "I still have the original, but will probably buy one"

  • But think how much money was saved during manufacturing by not including a basic safety feature for an event that was so very easily foreseeable.
