  • "AI boom"? More like AI bubble go "boom!"

  • In addition, the motion also targets the contributory copyright infringement allegations, which center on scripts and tools NVIDIA allegedly distributed so corporate customers could automatically download ‘The Pile,’ the dataset that contains Books3.

  • Generally, companies that have AI integrated to this extent have no engineers remaining who could have made such things impossible.

It starts with automating backups that nobody verifies for years, then continues to off-shoring all development to the cheapest contractors that nobody actively manages, handing over all "keys to the kingdom" to cloud providers, culminating with elimination of 80% of infrastructure and engineering staff in a mad dash to cut costs at any cost. At that point giving AI agents full access is just icing on the cake.

  • You might, but you didn't have to.

  • Gen Z doesn't need to sabotage AI. AI is already doing a fine job sabotaging itself.

  • Don't give them any ideas!

  • Welp, democracy was sure nice while it lasted. Good run, folks.

  • Give the AI restraints, like “Don’t tell me to kill myself as part of this stir-fry recipe.”

    Ouch

  • One hundred billion dollars worth of GPUs (and all the RAM they can hoard) hard at work, ladies and gentlemen. Of course Slopya Nadella needs more data centers.

  • Remember, folks, HR is there too protect the company, not you.

  • Same. I had to disclose every single investment and bank account, payment apps, and loan for myself, my wife, and any dependents like children or aging parents. All to avoid even a possibility of something looking like a conflict of interest. In the meantime the fucking president of the country can hawk meme coins, and pardon actual financial fraudsters. I asked about that on one of those zoom calls, but was ignored for some reason.

  • Work makes you use your own computer?

  • Comey likely can never face the same charges again.

As if it will stop these Nazis from drumming up some more bogus charges against him, or anyone else that dares challenge the orange führer.

  • I'd avoid cracking software. Every crack you download carries a nom-zero risk of infecting your PC with malware. I get your reluctance to switching to a different editing software, but it may be worth it.

I must've tried every free and paid photo editor out there, and none have feature parity with Lightroom Classic or Capture One. The thing most of them are missing is AI based tools like object masking, etc. Luminar Neo comes close, but I feel it's only a matter of time before they go sub-only too. There's a new free one called RapidRAW that has pitential.
