The danger here is asking a native English speaker their opinion when it could be a very cultural distinction. A U.S. dictionary will unambiguously call it a sandwich, but that could be simply to facilitate explaining what it is to a less familiar audience; essentially ”it’s a sandwich with these unusual characteristics”.

We also have “hot open face sandwiches” though which is typically a single slice of cheap sandwich bread topped with hot sliced meat (usually turkey or roast beef) and hot gravy.

But if you want my opinion, yes - they’re all sandwiches (albeit non-traditional).

The only thing Plex has that Emby & Jellyfin don't, that I think is pretty neat, is the combining of multiple servers in one library UI. That's it.

For myself I can access jellyfin from my tailnet, but Plex also makes secure sharing with friends and family over the internet simple.

You also get their OTA broadcast guide for free with plex pass. I doubt anyone else will ever offer that. The cheapest option I know of is HDHomerun’s for $35/year.

With those two things I suspect I’ll be sticking with Plex (if not exclusively) until they go out of business.

Plex Pass certainly has functionality and features that jellyfin doesn’t; just not $750 worth…

The NYT article cited in the Wikipedia article only says it was a Tesla. The WSJ article also cited does specify it was a Model X.
