I was reading an autobiographical book recently about second world war, written by a soviet officer, and I'm pretty sure that the guy who wrote it had ADHD. He described how he would be the most focused during chaos for example, or how he would notice things others wouldn't. Or how he was a machine gunner but also a member of aviation modeling club, and a sniper. And the way he interacted with people.
I was reading through it and constantly thinking that he certainly was one of us.
And I can't imagine having only one meal a day yet.
And I know what you mean about being too agitated to sleep, sometimes I feel like I'm too tired to sleep, because the brain is trying to process a lot of things and is too slow from fatigue, and it keeps me from sleeping...
Still, first day I didn't manage to sleep... Hopefully I'll adjust soon
Unpopular opinion, but Xbox 360. The first ones didn't have hdmi, didn't have a hard drive, the giant power brick was unsightly, the controller has the worst dpad I have ever touched and playing any fighting game on it was a pain, the paid multiplayer cancer grew there, the ads in the main menu of the console... And I didn't get to see the red ring of death since I've switched to PS3 as soon as I could afford one.
I know a lot of people have fond memories of it, but for me the 360 represented the worst of the console manufacturers' greed, milking the consumer to the bone while cheaping out on everything that was possible to cheap out on.
And it’s still the first day for me so I’m keeping my expectations in check, after so many failed attempts I really don’t want to be disappointed once again…
I was almost the opposite, after reading the books I don’t want to return to that world, the first one made it feel dark and bad, but intriguing and full of unknown, second one made it a bit darker, and the third one just made it so dark and depressing, like the Darkest Dungeon, where each step sips your sanity.
It just became massively unappealing, a world of Soviet-style state oppression in a can, without a hope, with no heroes, and where the only way forward is out.
Oh, I was actually talking about the original Race Driver: Grid, it’s super fun. Got confused by their naming scheme though, I’ve never even played the 2019 one
I think it's only available in Russian language https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A8%D1%83%D0%BC%D0%B8%D0%BB%D0%B8%D0%BD,_%D0%90%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B4%D1%80_%D0%98%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%B8%D1%87
