City politics driving me insane lately, and thats just from reading the news and not participating in it. Can only imagine how bullet to the head inducing it must be to actually participate in it if you aren't a dumb as bricks careerist, petty real estate oligarch or some type of sociopath.
Also, impossible to buy cute shoes if you have large feet. I'm not even talking about women's shoes either, though that could be useful, just want a pair of predominately pink shoes for some outfits and its hard to find them in larger sizes it seems
That does sound cool and would be neat for coffee but not sure would work for what im looking for unfortunately. I also kind of want that now too though so thank you lol
We both just drink plain unflavored carbonated water, it just works out to be more cost effective to use a sodastream even with their overpriced canisters than to buy in cans or even 2L bottles.
Getting the gas for carbonation shouldn’t be a problem for me at least, places here will fill pretty much any canister for you for less than the sodastream replacement costs.
Just wondering about a machine itself that is not pro apartheid. I’ll have to do some looking online when I get a chance
Not bad but I definitely am in the same boat as you. Just started my 65 hour work week this morning and I’m not hyped about it. This place is my solace during the weekly grind
Anyone know of any good alternatives to Sodastream that do not support genocide ? I want to get one for my dad for the holidays to replace his sodastream, as he loves using it but was not thrilled when I told him about the company.
Also need one for myself honestly. They keep jacking up price of carbonated water
Russia being effectively thrown out of UEFA while Israel is allowed to participate is the clearest example of their bullshit I can think of, just infuriating. I will be livid if Israel make it to the main tournament
Nothing especially wrong work is just busy and annoying, and i've been more or less disassociated for the past 6 or so weeks so I need to try very hard to reassociate because I have a lot of things to get done
Insurgency is a fun multiplayer one, I haven’t played the newer version a ton but it feels like a bit more realistic battlefield while being a bit more arcade-y than other sim type FPS.
Sickens me how many people in the west have a positive view of Churchill and a negative view of Stalin. The latter I understand the propaganda is stronger but the former, nothing is really obscured about Churchill's beliefs and policy. You have to think a lot of people just appreciate that disgusting shit.
As some other comrades have said I think executive dysfunction is something to look into. If you can get evaluated for ADHD I definitely would try to. I have struggled with extremely similar issues and Covid especially compounded that, but about a year ago I finally got my shit together and got an ADHD diagnosis and medication to treat it. I still have a long, long way to go to achieve the things I want to but I can firmly say I have accomplished more in the past year of my life than in the five previous to that.
Progress is going to be slow and incremental, sometimes nonexistent or outright in reverse but it can be done I think. Hopefully you can access some half decent resources where you are.
As far as I'm concerned western media has no problem being forwardly, candidly and outwardly racist towards Muslims and Arabs more broadly on a consistent basis. The majority of publications have no issue whatsoever with overtly or implicitly stating that actions taken by Arab people are either "terrorism" or adjacent to it, and that there is no perspective from which they are justifiable. There isn't a single thing that these people can do other than graciously licking the boots of the west in direct opposition to their own material interests that will be seen as anything other that terrorism or subversion. The inherent white supremacist nature of liberalism is the backbone of their ability to perpetuate this bullshit, I think.
I think you can support Ireland without any concern. Like other commentators have said, its just sports. In the World Cup last year I went to a local pub for the Canada matches and had a great time cheering for the team despite obviously hating 98% of what Canada is all about.
Its fun to have something to enjoy with others in your community if you can, one of the big reasons I like sports.
Most people I know either just don’t want WW3 to start or are pro-Palestine. I’ve taken to saying “for legal reasons I can’t discuss this right now” when it comes up with coworkers or strangers or whoever I’m not sure about, which says a lot while technically saying nothing I feel.
I have a couple close friends that are on the “both sides” bullshit and I just told them outright that we aren’t gonna talk about it until they grow up and are prepared to consider other perspectives.
This show was so fucking good, the theme song goes stupid hard
