I'm currently using connect for lemmy. It works fine, but I still have to use the web version to jumping between servers, which is why I come up with this idea.
Reddit is different from Twitter. You stay in Twitter for famous accounts, not for the communities like Reddit. If enough of people (especially mods and power users) actually move to another place, Reddit will slowly die. The community-based approach of the fediverses I think works well with immigrants Redditors
I hate this trend. But as a greedy corporate, making money base on current IPs is too profitable to ignore. They get to make money not only from the movie ticket but also the merchandise on Disney World.
If people want real changes, we need to vote with ours money
