  • And yet this will be running Google search going forward.

  • Kagi.

  • It wasn’t though, not until Lars.

  • People actually subscribe to AI. As such, the likelihood decreases daily.

  • You say that as a joke, but it’s very real. The ED staff like to mutter about never removing the boots. The floor staff mutter about having to do just that.

There are homeless people who’ve not removed their boots in a year or two. There are toes that come off with socks.

There’s no “better yet” in this scenario.

  • Yes. My parents forbid it after I had a nightmare about the skin being ripped off of a face. Nothing adulthood won’t cure. It’s actually pretty great in a 3 heads kind of way, rodents and all.

  • Dark Shadows is my Number 1 on worst. V is in the top 5, but yes, very entertaining. Bad acting should be entertaining.

YT is getting annoying. And there’s bot vids now.

  • It’s another way to tank social security. Immigrants pay those taxes and can’t collect on it.

  • Megathread, Star Trek. It’s reliable. Barring that, there’s always Walter Bishop or Scully & Mulder. V, the original series, for some of the worst acting ever televised.

If I’m going to watch scripted I’m going to watch a story. Even the hobby vids are scripted, repetitive, selling crap. Very little of it feels authentic. Neither the algorithm nor the search fxn lets you search for rejected vids or vids with <500 views. It’s ridiculous.

  • It swings around 180 in other other odd ways. About 100 years ago, when I went through my dating period, I kept finding myself across tables from men who thought if I didn’t do this while they were talking, then I wasn’t attending to them or their words.

Ditto, on eyes turning inward to focus on and visualize what they were talking about, an aspect of full attention. Apparently, doing that meant I was tuning them out and letting my mind wander to other things. They “could tell”.

Needless to say, I encountered many a one date wonder who never moved past that initial interview.

Blinking, internal imagery, and not staring are pieces of standard, WNL attentive conversation.

  • But, trans!

Really, it all comes back to that. When you talk to conservatives, their brains pivot around that point.

  • They’re not trying to pretend anymore, the racist fucks.

  • Facebook is dying and now they’re continuing it off platform. While tanking their local housing markets. Property tax revenue goes with it.

  • Usually in a shelter you’re dealing with traumatized women who no longer feel safe around men. Do they need safe men around to re-learn trust? Yes. Is the point of their first housing after fleeing an abuse situation under enough threat that qualify for a safe house the time for it? No. Most are female staff only.

  • This is part of why China is winning. Trump is a fucking fossil.

  • I don’t know why anyone would find Rossman controversial.

He’s great. Gently welcoming you to the show to tell you how you’re getting fucked today. Some attitude on Bambu Labs, but that’s understandable. GemeraNexus is in with him. Can’t imaging Loyal Moses not being so as well.

I’m of that generation that believes when you buy something it is yours. Period. End of sentence. But that’s a GenX thing I think.

To me, the man is stating the obvious. Granted, who knows what mentality corporate America has created in today’s teens and 20-somethings on the topic. Maybe they all just sub to things with little to no hesitation with no resistance, pause, or expectation of better. I don’t know.

  • $150 filled a cart pre-2020.

  • Why? It’s not like they can’t afford to pay for themselves.
