  • Haha! Fuck My Sassy Girl. It's been a long time since I watched it, but my memory is that she's an utter bitch to him the entire film, and it's all romantic when he learns to take it so they can be together? Dude should've walked.

  • I honestly don't remember much of the plot of any of those games. Great games, though!

  • I used to always automatically answer Apocalypse Now for this question. I'm not sure anymore, but it's still a great movie.

Don't watch the director's cut. It's longer and adds nothing of value.

Blade Runner is also up there. Do watch the director's cut with no narration.

  • Lost never delivered on its initial promise of cool science fiction mystery. It became increasingly clear as the seasons went on that the writers had no fucking clue where they were going with any of this stuff and just gave up and everyone-was-dead-all-along was the only way out even though they promised early on that wasn't the case. Fuck that show and Abrams in particular.

  • That's probably the most concise explanation of souls games I've heard yet!

My first time through Sekiro, I probably died over 100 times before Madame Butterfly. My second time through Sekiro, I got to her and beat her without dying once. It was glorious! I don't think the combat in that game will ever be topped.

  • My wife meticulously right-clicks for the context menu, and clicks copy, and then again for paste. My inner ctrl-c, ctrl-v screaming the entire time.

  • Susumu Yokota - Sakura

Some of his other stuff is great, too, but this is his best IMO.

  • I usually find my epubs via Soulseek. I'll be checking out Anna's Archive now, though.

  • Excuse me, but it is "breaking the law". Rob Halford is a proper Englishman who does not say "breakin'".

  • $179'999.99 is ridiculous. Is someone really going to look at that and say "Oh hey, it's less than 180'000! What a steal!"?

  • Yes. It is actually a master class in mind-numbing inanity. I imagine Warhol's Sleep is more engaging.

  • I watched that fully knowing it was supposed to be terrible. I was unprepared. I can only imagine aneurysms are more pleasant to endure. It's only an hour-and-a-half or something, but it feels like five. Something to put on Sunday night when you know Monday is coming I suppose.

  • You can get USB drives for a pittance.

  • Same! Are you in Korea?

  • Goddamit, I don't remember Hyperion being anywhere near this cool. I might have to reread.

  • I did some manual labory jobs when I was younger. Most of my co-workers subsisted entirely on coffee and cigarettes. No one in those jobs was over thirty, though.

  • Soulseek FTW!
