  • Back 4 million years the whole world really was a planet of the apes. So in some ways recognising something that wasn't your species, but looked like it might have avoided conflict, loss of territory, loss of food..

  • The Netherlands does have access for those things. Its the petrolheads who make up that they dont. Otherwise we'd see their cities failing. And there are cargo bikes for many things. My Cousin's partner rides one thats like a mini boxvan, half electric with a solar panel on the top.

  • TBH its a 15 minute walk to the main Lidl, or a 4 minute one the other way to the nearest corner shop down here. Cant do a full shop on foot (I could steal the trolley for a bit, LOL) but eggs is doable here.

  • I gave up reporting on major sites where I saw abuse. Stuff that if you said that in public, also witnessed by others, you've be investigated. Twitter was also bad for responding to reports with "this doesnt break our rules" when a) it clearly did and b) probably a few laws.
