I have seen this take several times but I've never gotten any additional information about how they came to that conclusion. Has anyone gotten an actual answer?
The only hope of having another decent star trek or star wars series is if someone organizes another fanmade one like Star Trek: Continues which was fantastic.
I attended a deep south high school circa 2015 and IME it was more like "Slavery was kinda bad, but they were no angels, and life was really hard back then, and they sold their own people so it was kind of justified, also the cotton industry was very prosperous and you can't bake a cake without breaking a few eggs"
Gay marriage was made law in America by essentially a random fucking miracle with only a sliver of a majority of the population in support just 11 years ago. We only just figured this shit out, and the other half of Americans will never forgive us for it and fully intend to, and probably will, claw it back very soon.

"Everything about longevity and related topics like: Health, AI, human enhancements, Anti-Aging, Longevity, Robotics, Faith in Jesus Christ, Genetic Editing, Biotechnology, immortality..."
Try to get some of the smaller younger "hands" of ginger if you can find them. They're younger, less fibrous, and have a less intense flavor. You can just throw it in the freezer and grate it frozen straight into the pan. A microplane grater is best if you have one, but the box grater will do. Even a mandolin works.
Out of curiousity, what if you boiled it and made tea? Would that be safe?
