  • Hey, behaviour wise, what do they most resemble? Do they recognise you? Do they like cuddling or any form of affection like other pets? Are they food driven? Can you teach them tricks or otherwise train them?

  • Nah man, that would just be scary.

  • Tell them you regularly hide your disgust for people that trade privacy for convenience behind polite disdain.

  • ...and then you ask the agent to implement the next logical piece. It comes back with something that contradicts what you instructed on three sessions ago. A dependency appears that you explicitly said was forbidden. A boundary gets crossed. A pattern gets abandoned in favor of something the model apparently prefers from its training data. The code is often technically correct, but it is wrong for your project.

I hit that moment a lot. It annoyed me greatly. And then I started thinking hard about why it kept happening.

The reason it keeps happening is because OP is an idiot using a sophisticated Markov chain to try to automate away the only parts of his job that is actually self-actualizing. They will write another article when eventually they lose their job to some VC backed con job shows their boss a presentation showing capabilities that OP too falsely believe AI has.

  • Just add a comically oversized sack with a $$ sign on the side, and a mask of zorro and he can audition for the role of bank robber in a pink panther cartoon.

  • I got a gamesir controller which retails for nearly the same price, but I got it at half price so I'm somewhat OK. I would have been devastated if I had to shell out full price a week before steam controller got on my radar.

My condolences, and may your unfortunate purchase serve it's purpose for long enough to be worth its price and more.

  • It's not a DP, It's one overweight guy lying on his back and his partner, another dude, bringing the tip of his dick down to the first guy's tip. When they're ready one of their dicks will open up to receive the other.

  • Right? It's like the ghetto-est ghetto you can imagine progressed to the point of having its own news network without losing it's cultural identity.

  • Wow, the australia one is genius. Can't do what with many other countries, can we?

  • I thought that was a myth, couldn't imagine the launch velocity. What kind of equipment you packing, the pelvic muscles of an ox?

  • I know what this is. It makes sense in rough terrain where it is hard to get machinery to, even disassembled, but at the same time has no shortage of willing labour.

Its very effective during disaster recovery.

  • So, like spotube? Does it also use the same download mechanisms in the background?

  • The sign on the outside says "Entry ^" and the sign on the inside says "Exit ^"

  • Only works in tiny countries with a monoculture. In which case it becomes irrelevant.

I can honestly say with some confidence that I can narrow down the set of countries that you might be from, just from this one comment of yours. No one who has lived in any kind of diverse-culture environment could espouse a brain dead take like this.

Also, when your government mandates something like this, you can be sure its not going to be your language that is being forced on you.

EDIT: Ah, nevermind - I just read through your comment a few more times and I think you have a valid position to defend - I think even the most diverse countries have like one or two official languages and a host of other languages.

EDIT 2: Problem with having an official language for schooling is that it immediately disadvantages every other language simply because children spend 8 hours in school with this "official" language. Considering there is little hope of full fluency in a foreign language after formal education, it will slowly push out any cultural languages.

  • Pretty sure several engineers from google itself might be contributors to some of them, fortunately.

  • Not youtube ads, sadly, if they are blocking based on domain names. For YouTube, you can use pipepipe, which do block ads as far as I have seen.

  • It can be exchanged for goods and services

I've been thinking of switching over to Voyager, but I heard that Voyager was built on elements from Chrome. As a layman what does this mean?
