  • I went for a Ryzen 7 5800xt which arrives tomorrow. As advised I updated my BIOS which was new to me - I got it done first try with no hassle in 20 minutes or so :D . So, all prepared to swap the CPU and to redo my rats nest cable management in one go tomorrow. Hooray, and thank you to all that replied.

  • I'm an intern for local gov

    I love that I just sit in a decent office with amicable coworkers and a good boss. The commute is a good distance and I could even bike. I make decent money around 18 usd/hr after taxes. I don't ever have to think about work after 5pm.

    I hate using Microsoft / windows / Adobe but it's tolerable. The real problem is not using my bachelor's that I just got and a lack of room for advancement.

  • My car snow brush head came off the handle the one day, I found that the screw had absolutely no threading and promptly lost the screw anyway. Easiest solution was taking a nail longer than the diameter of the handle, curving it into an L, inserting it and wrapping the thing in duct tape. Worked great!

  • There's a small board game, I think it's just called Knot Game, you get flashcards, two bits of string, and a timer. The flashcards help you learn a ton of knots and the timer allows you to challenge yourself.
