  • There goes all of what remains of their integrity.

It just proves further and further that AI by itself is not a bad thing. It's the intent that man pours into it, that makes it a bad thing.

Whatever man touches, turns to rigor mortis.

  • Maybe, if publishers and creators were getting some petty tax from each swap

You didn't read the part where part of my conceptual ideas consist of paying a fee to gift the game away, that would have to be decided up to Valve and the Developers/Publishers. I only came up with just a start. It's not a perfect idea, but it's there as a return for them because they're going to want some return from this, of course.

  • I'm not doing the leg work for you. If you're that curious, you look it up.

  • Oh great, so I'm seeing this now, where we'll have controllers that will play the game for you. And this will go over nicely in esports and the competitive scene...not.

Not hopeful for the next generation of gaming.

  • Arena Shooters have tried and tried to recapture the magic but it's just long gone. As soon as Overwatch showed up, the game had changed. Then Quake itself just had to do the same thing with Champions and look where that got them. Then Unreal Tournament turned into Fortnite and that was the last nail in the coffin.

  • Yeah, look at all of them "USA" markers on those ammunition casings. When USA was backing this. They're just as guilty.

  • A lot of them don't even lie about it as much if you read between the lines. GreenManGaming, HumbleBundle are the exceptions to that.

But places like CDKeys, G2A .etc yeah you can't be assured that anything you buy from them is going back to the developer. If the developers so much even hears the existence of these kinds of sites, they'd be protesting to have them shut down.

  • This is how I feel about fast food in general.

They are only good for exceptional situations, like needing to stretch rations so you don't eat into the food at home so okay you go to a fast food restaurant instead.

No menu item at all is healthy but people conveniently ignore that. Regardless of the many programs and attempts all fast-food chains have tried to be healthy, they just practice wrong because they're still in environments surrounded by grease, fried cooking oil and processed pre-bought items.

They should not be treated like you would at a sit-down restaurant that actually has waitresses/waiters, chefs .etc

They're good for eating at very moderate and scarce amounts. Not a weekly or daily consumption level.

The prices don't justify the quality.

  • I would go by tiers.

Kindergarten/Pre-School is fine as it is. Middle-School is where you're to learn the basics of life and in general of what you need to know when developing. High School is to be the place where those same courses are advanced, like you're to learn how to budget, how to file taxes, sex education a priority .etc

College is the real deal where you're to learn even more advanced courses. These things would just assist eachother so nobody feels like they're left behind, everyone is on the same page.

  • And it would be optional credit, not mandatory.

  • I do not think this is about appeasing Trump or embracing a Trump presidency. It's just them showing their true colors.

The same kind of corporations that play make-believe whenever June comes around with corporately-sponsored "acceptance" products.

  • Games @lemmy.world

Do you wish that you could recycle games?

  • I don't give a damn what my co-workers think. Company events? LOL! Unnecessary drama and pressure because some lonely ass manager/executive somewhere feels they need to single out people to give the ones who don't attend over. Bathroom politics are a freaking joke, can't believe that's even a thing for people that make a huge issue on where they shit and piss in.

Again - it's not a job's business to know. It's none of the co-worker's business to know. You bring it onto yourself when you decide to put a flag of your identity around your workplace or when you drop subtle hints. I don't do that. I'm not affected by any of this.

What do people often associate intelligence with?

  • Poorer understanding of money and value was detected.

  • Democrats: Takes forever to get around to doing what they need to do until it's last minute. The last minute passes them, they're throwing a fit about it.

Republicans: Starts pulling strings and tapping connections to throw as much shit around as possible and orchestrate theater to pad the time it takes.

What are some causes/social issues that you aren't affected by?

  • Twitter ended up inadvertently turning to his favor though. It has turned into even more of a hotbed for unchecked, uneducated and loud morons from alt-right/qanon/incel/republicans.

He gets TikTok though, it'll just be another platform to blast full volume even more.

The guy is stupid rich, he could theoretically buy Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp and Reddit if he wanted to. He's just not choosing to at this time.

  • Leaving shoes or anything laying around the apartment, making an annoying obstacle course.

  • danooct1 - A guy who demonstrates computer viruses on OSes like Windows and DOS.

WrestlingWithWregret (For wrestling fans) - This guy does various wrestling content but some of his best is PPV Classic reviews. Charming personality.

  • You need things to work towards.

Also, if one thinks going to work is bad, there will not ever be a worse feeling than coming home fired and pondering how you're going to upkeep your expenses and a roof over your head.

  • Numerous things. But, because of the straining amount of work I do at even 4 days (the place I work at sucks balls). I can't mentally attune myself or even physically attune myself into doing things I ideally want to do. I've gone into a bit of my routine. I could play a new game. I could watch a movie or a show. I could spend time in my living room with no tech in it. But I just end up not doing it.
