You cannot kick them out but my uneducated guess (or is it hope?) is that the EU is waiting for the elections and if Orban wins for any reason there will be some kind of action like stripping Hungary of voting rights (article 7).

If my government would try to end democracy, insult allies on a daily basis, threaten war on allies, kidnap a head of state and his wife, start a war in the middle east, carpet bomb the country for weeks, talk about the next military adventure while the old one is still going, erect camps where people are concentrated, ....

If all of that happens with a god-king-by-constitution leader who has the mental structure of a 5 year old, is a rapist, convicted felon and likely child rapist with zero respect for human life and dignity: Yes I would say the same. I would expect my fellow country men to end this or i would have exactly the same opinion.

They know nothing. Likely because of the prohibition.

I have a medical skin condition that is not life threatening in any way but which is depressing when left untreated. From the doctor I get medication that only treats the condition after the fact which isn't optimal to put it mildly.

I tried vaporizing cannabis and all symptoms are completely gone. I asked multiple doctors about it. The reaction was always disbelief or complete lack of interest.

I really do not care what statistics from some study says. Even if 999 other patients see no improvement at all. It had helped me as an individual and the positive effect has been reproducible for years now.

The question is: For what do we need them?

They certainly will not respect Article 5 of the NATO treaty. They do not respect the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Denmark. They will use any(!) leverage they have against us, no matter what we do. What do we get for playing nice? Nothing! If I look at Starmer, Merz, Kallas, ...., it looks like Chamberlain 2.0 and we know from experience that this will not work.

Maybe we buy some time but I do not see attempts to end the dependence. All I see is the hope that everything will be ok once Trump is gone. I doubt it.

The headline is at least sensationalist. It has little to do with Germany and a lot to do with the USA.

Banks are threatened by the USA and may loose access to e.g. SWIIFT. That seems to be the reason for the termination of the accounts.

Of course I do not support such terminations but Banks are threatened with death by a rogue foreign actor.
