A friend of mine played A LOT of Aion. The player who spent by far the most money later turned out to be a member of Qatar's royal family. I can't tell you much because the game was confusing and I was not that interested, but according to my friend, he also paid for alot of in-game junk for his guild. So he fits right into that cross section.
