  • Bro just watched edgy socially critical anime

  • Relevance?

  • When I can no longer use Boost to access reddit, I'm totally done with it (which I expect is pretty soon)

  • Yes

  • These days you just need to get the Wii online and do the EULA DNS hack, fully automated

  • Yes, and businesses have business vehicles with cheaper taxes, which cannot be used privately. Small/solo businesses can be partly exempted from this.

The size of that thing is completely ridiculous and would be a major nuisance/hazard, to drive around in a city

  • When normal people need to move stuff, they attach a trailer to their normal-sized car.

Even the car in the foreground is considered large in my country.

  • All teachers are psychopaths. Get with the program

  • We do it in Europe too, but maybe for 10-20 houses. Not 200

  • Westerners

    USA

    We are not the same

  • geographically unremarkable

    True, but ouch

  • Our economy is a bit different, no offense, and that pricing seems fair to me :)

I can download whatever I need in <5 minutes and that's totally sufficient for me.

  • I don't think that's too bad, sounds like Germany has come a long way.

My 1Gbps would be around 50 in Denmark (if I didn't work for an isp lol)

  • Most hardware does 2.5Gbps out of the box these days.

I've had 1Gbps for 13 years now (in Denmark) and can comfortably say: it's plenty

  • America

    Jump
  • Yup, it is just half an hour before, very commonly used here. There's some other English language (Australian?) where it means the opposite - totally not confusing.

We also use quarter to/quarter past as well of course

  • America

    Jump
  • Yep, though we also have "Klokken halv 4" which is especially confusing for foreigners

  • America

    Jump
  • In Denmark it's always written in 24hr, but I'd say it's 50/50 whether we say 3 or 15 for 15:00.

I guess saying 3 is more casual. But we never use "hundred". 15:30 would just be fifteen-thirty.

  • Yeah these games are definitely about the journey, not the destination. The journey is awesome, but I was also super underwhelmed by the endings.

Instead of making a massive empty underworld in TotK, I wish they had focused on transforming the normal world after beating Gannon, for some extra content at the end.

  • I think the only reason to switch would be the optimizations, right? For new users, the installer is probably nice.

You can get all the optimizations they made in Arch, too. It's very easy to get their custom kernel, just install linux-cachyos from AUR.

For other system settings, see: https://github.com/CachyOS/CachyOS-Settings

Can you use Linux today without the terminal?

Reminder: You can still use reddit from 3rd party apps
