  • My husband has been with a singular doctor for like almost 40 years now. Wait times have swing wildly over the years, all depending on who is actually running the business.

    When he started, doctor self owned and wait times were low. The various corps that run it now have changed...a lot...and have swung from reasonable to two hours. It's terrible.

  • Oh. Haha, this was how I was actually taught to do the 9s. I think it was meant as just a "you can also do the lower ones this way" and wasn't suppose to be "the only way you'll remember, Rebekah" but it was the second one!

    My doctor has 15 minutes and 10 of those was trying to find in their computer what I had done recently medical wise.

  • Yeah my checklist goes "When did I last have water? When did I last eat? When did I last use the bathroom? When did I last sleep?" Then if those are met, we get more specific. Like "Am I upset about mother or husband or twin or cat? Am I upset about some specific news? Some general news? The general world?"

  • My husband's parents bought into the satanic panic fully, apparently. He pretended to be making model airplanes instead of playing with the guys.

    My parents played ad&d together in college so. There was a difference lol.

  • In my area the sensor turns on at (???) some time at night. Otherwise it always cycles. At night though, if you aren't on the sensor it will skip.

  • I play them sometimes because they're free (to start). I then suck all enjoyment out of them, and the second I'm tempted to spend money I throw it in the trash and find a new one. There's so many!

  • Because the things I like to do or talk about were normal (ish) for a little girl, I got to have a doctor look at me and tell me at 30 I was on the spectrum.

  • I offload some mental responsibilities to husband. I tell him what I want to do so if I forget he reminds me. It also makes me feel bad if I don't do them cause he knows what I wanted to do so I'm like...10 percent more likely to finish.
