  • Tried using veracrypt portable to access my files on library computer 1ce , couldn't bcus still needed admin permissions (brought up dialogue window telling me contact library staff oar some thing)

    Not sure wat's up with that , sorta defeats point of portable app if Can't use it on device that's not mine

  • Shinies from gen6 onwards have odds halved from 1:8192 → 1:4096

    However this dœsn't mean shinies suddenly trivial to find . Haven't recalled moments where found shinies unless actively lꚙKing for them till gen 9 where random encounters replaced with overworld

    Also possible the ROM hack your playing might've increased odds but they've not advertised it

  • Matte screen protectors exist , don't hafta necessarily be marketed as "paper-like" . Tho note they may smꚙth out over time

    However not been able to find one with "privacy shield" like feature if that's some thing you care about

  • My main browser ! Much better than vanilla Firefox U[XI] wise , specially can't live without Glance feature , simply can't go back !

    Tho seen peops saying it uses lotsa (CPU|RAM) forgot wich one , personally haven't noticed much difference on my machine

    Some downsides :

    • No portable windows app
    • policies.json dœsn't seem to work , therefore can't fully disable update messages
    • Stable version wen

  • Had idea for resource pack inspired by Paper Cut-Out but with HD textures basicly lꚙkin like actual construction paper . Onef very few instances HD textures in Minecraft actually work and don't lꚙk complete dogshit

    But makin Minecraft resource packs daunting work even for 16×16 textures , specially considering it needs continual updating . 1st time makin one's in development for awhile , but inevitably burnt out lol 🛌 will I return to it some day ? Who knows !

    It's 202fuckin6 , should be beyond possible for username changes on user level , fact AP platforms do them this way in current year's archaic . Some technical limitation ? Oar just nobody figured out how to implement it yet ?

    • username changing . Back wen had mastodon account (we don't talk about that !) , didn't see option to change it any where , so assumed wasn't possible technicly
    • Account migration . Unhappy with lemmy.word's administration , would like to migrate (post|comment) history to another instance (preferably mbin one if one I like eventually shows up + gꚙd mobile client)
