  • I find a lot of the tips like that don't mean much, just throw it all together and make it with a minimum of fuss, and the bread turns out fine.

  • Still mad about how mediocre Kaiju preservation society was...

  • I really want to like his stuff, old man's war is probably my favorite book of all time, but I really just don't like the rest of it...

Even though I keep reading them...

  • Depends on what the goal is. Heavy vehicles do disproportionately more damage to the infrastructure.

They might want to encourage smaller, lighter cars, regardless of type. They certainly make small city EVs, as well as just encouraging walking, biking, public transportation, etc.

  • Republicans are blocking military officers for the same reason they blocked supreme court nominations, they're gambling on their guy winning in 2024 so they can pack the leadership ranks and hold power without winning an election.

Dems can work on more than one thing, but these two are both critical.

  • Possums don't live exclusively on ticks, they don't even particularly have a penchant for eating ticks. There was just one study that showed they could eat ticks and potentially have a resistance to some diseases.

  • You say that like it's a bad thing. We punish our corrupt politicians here.

Most other states either reward them, or quietly move on to the next one.

  • TL;DR - An abortion ban won't literally be on the ballot, but if a GOP president is elected, that person will likely try to use an old, unproven law to try to ban many abortion services. This will have a chilling effect on abortion providers, but will likely end up in the court system, and the law is likely to be overturned (but not guaranteed to be).

The title is confusing because abortion was LITERALLY on the ballot in many states, but it will be FIGURATIVELY on the ballot in the national election. The US representatives are very backwards on reproductive health care, and social services in general, but the population has been overwhelmingly supportive of women's reproductive rights over the last few election cycles. This has absolutely backfired on the GOP and there's an entire, very active, generation of voters that are turning REAL ACTUAL left on many important issues.I can only hope this continues.

  • What do you use it for? I use a Garmin watch that shows me notifications, does sleep tracking, tracks workouts, and lasts two weeks on a charge.

  • Ok, I feel like I was transported to an alternate dimension where these words mean something.

I read the article, and it was full of references to other things I have no idea about.

What the hell is a live service game?

  • You are getting some dangerous advice in this thread that can make things worse.

You already have a bite, that's a huge sign that you have escalated past the normal behavior stuff. Talk to a professional, talk to a local organization, like the local humane society, respected training center, or your vet, and get some real advice.

Pushing back and acting violent towards a violent dog can get you hurt and the dog put down.

  • Crazy how close he was to achieving his twisted goals.

  • Fat finger in this context typically means that the person knew what they wanted to do, but typed the wrong thing. Their "fat finger" hit the wrong button. Possible that they wanted certificate 123 in the build, but they accidentally typed 133, or something like that.

  • Left. Widescreen monitors make a task bar at top or bottom take up too much real estate.

  • ubuntu - kalifedora - arch

  • No, it's illegal to do that in the US.
